Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis area bekas kebakaran pada lahan gambut di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir, Provinsi Riau, menggunakan citra Sentinel-2 MSI Level-2A yang diolah melalui platform Google Earth Engine. Metode yang digunakan adalah perhitungan indeks Normalized Burn Ratio (NBR) pada citra pre-fire dan post-fire, kemudian dihitung selisihnya untuk memperoleh nilai Differenced Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR). Nilai dNBR diklasifikasikan ke dalam tujuh tingkat keparahan kebakaran berdasarkan pedoman USGS, dengan kelas 4 hingga 7 sebagai area bekas terbakar dan kelas lainnya sebagai area tidak terbakar. Hasil pemetaan di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir menunjukkan luas area bekas terbakar sebesar 10.245,26 ha dan area tidak terbakar sebesar 758.949,90 ha. Sebaran area bekas terbakar tidak merata, tetapi terkonsentrasi pada beberapa kecamatan, terutama Kubu Babussalam seluas 4.531,32 ha, Bangko Pusako seluas 1.753,91 ha, dan Kubu seluas 1.456,90 ha. Pada kawasan lahan gambut, luas area bekas terbakar mencapai 6.683,26 ha, sedangkan area tidak terbakar sebesar 374.043,45 ha. Berdasarkan jenis gambut, area bekas terbakar paling luas terdapat pada Organosol Saprik sebesar 3.877,38 ha dan Organosol Hemik sebesar 2.778,87 ha. Berdasarkan kedalaman gambut, area bekas terbakar paling dominan berada pada kelas gambut dalam sebesar 2.843,09 ha dan kelas sangat dalam sekali sebesar 2.682,82 ha. Uji akurasi dilakukan menggunakan dua pendekatan, yaitu uji akurasi berbasis titik sampel (sample-based accuracy assessment) dan uji akurasi berbasis luasan (area-based accuracy assessment) yang menghasilkan nilai Overall Accuracy sebesar 98,8506% dan koefisien Kappa sebesar 0,9765, serta luasan True Positive (TP) sebesar 3.662,56 ha, True Negative (TN) sebesar 378.175,88 ha, False Positive (FP) sebesar 1.817,12 ha, dan False Negative (FN) sebesar 142,52 ha, yang menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian yang tinggi antara hasil klasifikasi dan data referensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode dan platform yang digunakan dinilai efektif digunakan untuk memetakan area bekas kebakaran, menilai tingkat keparahan kebakaran, serta mendukung analisis spasial kebakaran lahan gambut di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir.

This study aims to identify and analyze areas affected by fires on peatlands in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province, using Level-2A Sentinel-2 MSI imagery processed via the Google Earth Engine platform. The method used involves calculating the Normalized Burn Ratio (NBR) index on pre-fire and post-fire imagery, followed by calculating the difference to obtain the Differenced Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR) value. The dNBR values were classified into seven fire severity levels based on USGS guidelines, with classes 4 through 7 designated as burned areas and the remaining classes as unburned areas. The mapping results in Rokan Hilir Regency indicate a burned area of 10,245.26 ha and an unburned area of 758,949.90 ha. The distribution of burned areas is uneven but concentrated in several subdistricts, particularly Kubu Babussalam (4,531.32 ha), Bangko Pusako (1,753.91 ha), and Kubu (1,456.90 ha). In peatland areas, the burned area totaled 6,683.26 ha, while the unburned area was 374,043.45 ha. Based on peat type, the largest burned areas were found in Saprik Organosol (3,877.38 ha) and Hemic Organosol (2,778.87 ha). Based on peat depth, the most dominant burned areas were in the deep peat class (2,843.09 ha) and the very deep peat class (2,682.82 ha). Accuracy testing was conducted using two approaches, namely sample-based accuracy assessment and area-based accuracy assessment. These yielded an Overall Accuracy of 98.8506%, a Kappa coefficient of 0.9765, a True Positive (TP) area of 3,662.56 ha, a True Negative (TN) area of 378,175.88 ha, a False Positive (FP) area of 1,817.12 ha, and a False Negative (FN) area of 142.52 ha, indicating a high level of agreement between the classification results and the reference data. The results of this study show that the methods and platform used are considered effective for mapping former fire areas, assessing fire severity, and supporting spatial analysis of peatland fires in Rokan Hilir Regency.
