Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi komunikasi berbasis geolokasi Peer-to-Peer (P2P) menawarkan potensi signifikan untuk respons darurat yang cepat dan kontekstual. Meskipun aplikasi G-LocON merupakan langkah kunci di bidang ini, aplikasi ini menghadapi kekurangan kritis dalam fungsi SOS dan kualitas UI/UX secara keseluruhan. Tidak adanya fitur SOS yang dioptimalkan, dikombinasikan dengan kemudahan penggunaan yang buruk dan kurangnya halaman beranda yang informatif, menghambat komunikasi yang efektif selama bencana tingkat komunitas dan krisis individu. Penelitian ini mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut dengan membuat dan mendesain ulang antarmuka P2P berbasis lokasi menggunakan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD), dengan fungsi SOS sebagai prioritas utama. Proses ini melibatkan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dengan mengumpulkan data dari 15 peserta dan menerjemahkannya ke dalam kebutuhan pengguna dan persyaratan desain, kemudian mengembangkan prototipe frontend seluler di Figma dari sana. Untuk memastikan efektivitas desain, desain tersebut dinilai melalui evaluasi heuristik, dengan memanfaatkan penilaian ahli yang didukung oleh AI Generatif, serta pengujian kegunaan menggunakan Systsem Usability Scale (SUS) dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Evaluasi SUS menghasilkan skor 71, yang termasuk dalam kisaran "Good" dan "Acceptable". Evaluasi UEQ lebih lanjut mengungkapkan hasil positif di semua dimensi yang diukur, termasuk Daya Tarik (2,322), Efisiensi (2,317), Keandalan (2,267), Kebaruan (2,000), dan Kejelasan (1,967), yang semuanya melebihi ambang batas netral 0,8, menunjukkan pengalaman pengguna yang positif secara keseluruhan.
Hasil akhirnya adalah antarmuka SOS intuitif yang meningkatkan kejelasan informasi dan kecepatan operasional, memungkinkan pengguna untuk mendapatkan bantuan secara lebih efektif. Hal ini berkontribusi pada kerangka kerja yang berpusat pada pengguna untuk sistem komunikasi darurat di masa mendatang.

The advancement of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) geo-location-based communication technologies offers significant potential for rapid, context-aware emergency response. While the G-LocON application represents a key step in this field, it faces critical shortcomings in its SOS functionality and overall UI/UX quality. The absence of an optimized SOS feature, combined with poor affordances and the lack of an informative homepage, hinders effective communication during community-level disasters and individual crises. This research addresses these gaps by making and redesigning a location-aware P2P interface using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, with the SOS function as the core priority. The process involves identifying user requirements by collecting data from 15 participants and translating it into user needs and design requirements, then developing a mobile frontend prototype in Figma from there. To ensure the effectiveness of the design, it was assessed through heuristic evaluation, drawing on expert judgment supported by Generative AI, as well as usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The SUS evaluation yielded a score of 71, which falls within the "Good" and "Acceptable" range. The UEQ evaluation further revealed positive results across all measured dimensions, including Attractiveness (2.322), Efficiency (2.317), Dependability (2.267), Novelty (2.000), and Perspicuity (1.967), all of which exceeded the neutral threshold of 0.8, indicating an overall positive user experience. The final result is an intuitive SOS interface that improves information clarity and operational speed, enabling users to obtain aid more effectively. This contributes to a user-centric framework for future emergency communication systems.
