Abstract
Perbedaan antara pengetahuan kebencanaan dan perilaku aktual saat menghadapi situasi darurat menunjukkan perlunya media edukasi yang mampu merepresentasikan kondisi bencana secara lebih realistis. Virtual reality (VR) memungkinkan pengguna mengalami simulasi yang imersif sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi intensitas gempa bumi terhadap perilaku evakuasi dan perilaku prososial remaja usia 12–15 tahun dalam simulasi VR EVASTER (Evacuation of Disaster), serta mengevaluasi usability dan Fidelity sistem. Penelitian dilakukan melalui eksperimen terhadap 18 partisipan usia 12–15 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi intensitas gempa bumi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Completion time, Evacuation Behavioral Accuracy Score (EBAS), dan Accuracy Category. Intensitas sedang menghasilkan perilaku evakuasi yang paling akurat, sedangkan intensitas rendah dan tinggi cenderung menghasilkan ambiguitas dan panik berlebih. Sebaliknya, tidak dItemukan hubungan signifikan antara intensitas gempa dan perilaku prososial. Selain itu, VR EVASTER menunjukkan tingkat usability dan Fidelity yang baik sehingga berpotensi digunakan sebagai media edukasi kebencanaan bagi remaja.

The gap between disaster knowledge and actual behavior during emergency situations highlights the need for educational media that can represent disaster conditions more realistically. Virtual reality (VR) enables users to experience immersive simulations and therefore has the potential to enhance disaster preparedness. This study aims to analyze the effect of earthquake intensity variations on evacuation behavior and Prosocial behavior among adolescents aged 12–15 years using the VR EVASTER (Evacuation of Disaster) simulation, as well as to evaluate the system's usability and Fidelity. The study was conducted through an experimental approach involving 18 participants aged 12–15 years. The results indicate that earthquake intensity variations have a significant effect on Completion time, Evacuation Behavioral Accuracy Score (EBAS), and Accuracy Category. Moderate-intensity earthquakes resulted in the most accurate evacuation behavior, whereas low- and high-intensity earthquakes tended to induce ambiguity and excessive panic. In contrast, no significant relationship was found between earthquake intensity and Prosocial behavior. Furthermore, VR EVASTER demonstrated good usability and Fidelity, indicating its potential as a disaster education tool for adolescents.
