Abstract
Industri minyak dan gas bumi di Indonesia kini bergerak strategis menuju wilayah lepas pantai untuk memaksimalkan eksplorasi cadangan baru, namun penggunaan anjungan tetap dinilai tidak ekonomis untuk ladang marjinal atau lokasi dengan umur produksi terbatas. Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) menjadi solusi yang unggul karena mobilitas, fleksibilitas, dan adaptabilitasnya terhadap kondisi lingkungan. Penelitian ini menyusun desain konseptual FPSO yang diadaptasi untuk kondisi operasional di Selat Madura, dimulai dari penentuan payload dan kapasitas tangki penyimpanan, penentuan ukuran utama menggunakan pendekatan kapal pembanding, hingga analisis teknis berupa perhitungan freeboard, stabilitas, dan station-keeping, serta analisis kelayakan ekonomi. Hasil desain menunjukkan kapasitas produksi FPSO sebesar 27.500 bopd dengan kapasitas tangki penyimpanan 632.500 barel (100.559,28 m³), dan ukuran utama akhir L = 197 m, B = 38 m, H = 22,6 m, T = 17 m, dengan LWT 38.826 ton dan DWT 82.161 ton. Freeboard kapal sebesar 5,6 m telah memenuhi syarat minimum 5,456 m, stabilitas memenuhi kriteria IS Code, dan sistem station-keeping menggunakan spread mooring system dengan orientasi head sea 180°. Analisis ekonomi menghasilkan total CAPEX sebesar Rp 6.148.437.507.500,00 dan OPEX tahun pertama sebesar Rp 475.785.938.047,50, serta seluruh indikator kelayakan (NPV, IRR, Payback Period, PI, dan Break-Even Point) menyatakan proyek layak. Dengan demikian, desain FPSO ini dapat menjadi referensi teknis yang memenuhi standar regulasi dan layak diimplementasikan untuk mendukung efisiensi operasional migas di Selat Madura.

The oil and gas industry in Indonesia is shifting strategically toward offshore regions to maximize the exploration of new reserves, yet fixed platforms are often considered uneconomical for marginal fields or sites with limited production lifespans. Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) units offer a superior solution due to their mobility, flexibility, and adaptability to environmental conditions. This study develops a conceptual FPSO design adapted to the operational conditions of the Madura Strait, beginning with the determination of payload and storage tank capacity based on owner requirements, estimation of principal dimensions using a parent ship comparison approach, technical analysis covering freeboard, stability, and station-keeping calculations, and an economic feasibility analysis. The resulting design has a production capacity of 27,500 bopd with a storage capacity of 632,500 barrels (100,559.28 m³), and final principal dimensions of L = 197 m, B = 38 m, H = 22,6 m, and T = 17 m, with an LWT of 38.826 tons and a DWT of 82.161 tons. The vessel's freeboard of 5,6 m satisfies the required minimum of 5,456 m, stability meets the IS Code criteria, and the station-keeping system uses a spread mooring configuration oriented at 180° head sea. The economic analysis yields a total CAPEX of IDR 6.148.437.507.500,00 and a first-year OPEX of IDR 475.785.938.047,50, and all feasibility indicators (NPV, IRR, Payback Period, PI, and Break-Even Point) indicate the project is viable. The resulting design is expected to serve as a technical reference that complies with regulatory standards and is feasible for implementation to support the operational efficiency of oil and gas activities in the Madura Strait.
