Abstract
Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang masih menjadi penyebab utama kematian pada balita setelah diare. Wilayah Tangerang Raya termasuk dalam wilayah dengan kasus pneumonia pada balita yang cukup tinggi di Provinsi Banten, sehingga dilakukan analisis secara mendalam untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyebaran penyakit menular tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan kasus pneumonia pada balita dengan mempertimbangkan adanya faktor risiko dan pengaruh spasial antarkecamatan. Adapun manfaat yang didapatkan yaitu untuk membantu dalam pelaksanaan program pencegahan dan pengendalian pneumonia di Indonesia dalam rangka menurunkan angka kematian balita yang merupakan salah satu tujuan dari SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data prevalensi kasus pneumonia pada balita tahun 2024 di wilayah Tangerang Raya yang meliputi Kota Tangerang, Kota Tangerang Selatan, dan Kabupaten Tangerang. Pemodelan dilakukan dengan pendekatan Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). Hasil analisis karakteristik menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi pneumonia pada balita di wilayah Tangerang Raya dan faktor-faktor risikonya memperlihatkan pola yang cukup menyebar pada setiap kecamatan. Model GWR menghasilkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) yang lebih besar dibandingkan model regresi linier berganda, yaitu sebesar 70,54% dan nilai AIC sebesar 134,22. Berdasarkan hasil analisis GWR secara parsial, setiap kecamatan dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi variabel yang berbeda-beda. Variabel yang paling banyak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap prevalensi pneumonia pada balita di wilayah Tangerang Raya adalah persentase balita mendapat imunisasi dasar lengkap (X₂), persentase balita dengan berat badan kurang (X₄), dan persentase rumah tangga dengan akses fasilitas sanitasi layak aman (X₅).

Pneumonia is an infectious disease that remains a leading cause of death among infants and young children after diarrhea. The Greater Tangerang area has a relatively high incidence of pneumonia among infants and young children in Banten Province; therefore, an in-depth analysis was conducted to identify the factors influencing the spread of this infectious disease. This study aims to model pneumonia cases among infants and young children by considering risk factors and spatial influences across subdistricts. The benefits of this study include assisting in the implementation of pneumonia prevention and control programs in Indonesia to reduce under-five mortality, which is one of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The data used in this study consist of 2024 prevalence data on pneumonia cases among under-fives in the Greater Tangerang region, which includes the cities of Tangerang and South Tangerang, as well as Tangerang Regency. Modeling was performed using the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) approach. The results of the characteristic analysis indicate that the prevalence of pneumonia among infants in the Greater Tangerang region and its risk factors exhibit a fairly widespread pattern across each subdistrict. The GWR model yielded a higher coefficient of determination (R²) than the multiple linear regression model, at 70.54%, and an AIC value of 134.22. Based on the results of the partial GWR analysis, each subdistrict is influenced by different combinations of variables. The variables that most significantly influenced the prevalence of pneumonia among toddlers in the Greater Tangerang area were the percentage of toddlers who had received a complete series of basic immunizations (X₂), the percentage of underweight toddlers (X₄), and the percentage of households with access to safe and adequate sanitation facilities (X₅).
