Abstract
Circuit breaker (CB) merupakan peralatan proteksi pada sistem tenaga listrik yang berfungsi untuk memutus dan menghubungkan rangkaian listrik pada kondisi normal maupun saat terjadi gangguan. Keandalan CB sangat penting dalam menjaga kontinuitas penyaluran tenaga listrik, sehingga diperlukan preventive maintenance secara berkala. Laporan magang ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi operasional dan tingkat keandalan CB pada PHT 150 kV Rungkut #2 berdasarkan hasil preventive maintenance, menganalisis risiko operasional menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), serta rekomendasi terkait peningkatan kondisi CB. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan data hasil preventive maintenance 2 tahunan CB pada PHT 150 kV Rungkut #2 periode 2020–2026 yang meliputi pengujian tahanan isolasi, tahanan kontak, dan keserempakan kontak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kondisi operasional CB berada dalam kondisi normal dan andal, dibuktikan dengan seluruh parameter pengujian masih memenuhi standar operasional. Analisis FMEA menunjukkan adanya potensi risiko operasional pada sistem isolasi, kontak utama, dan mekanisme operasi, namun masih dalam kondisi yang dapat dikendalikan. Strategi peningkatan keandalan direkomendasikan melalui evaluasi tren data pengujian dengan rekapitulasi data dan monitoring kondisi peralatan.

A circuit breaker (CB) is a protective device in an electrical power system that serves to open and close electrical circuits under normal conditions and during faults. The reliability of a CB is crucial for maintaining the continuity of power distribution, making regular preventive maintenance essential. This internship report aims to analyze the operational condition and reliability level of the CB at the 150 kV Rungkut #2 Substation based on preventive maintenance results, analyze operational risks using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method, and provide recommendations for improving the condition of the CB. The analysis was conducted using data from the biennial preventive maintenance of the circuit breakers at the 150 kV Rungkut #2 Substation for the period 2020–2026, which included tests for insulation resistance, contact resistance, and contact synchronism. The analysis results indicate that the circuit breaker’s operational condition is normal and reliable, as evidenced by all test parameters still meeting operational standards. The FMEA analysis identified potential operational risks in the insulation system, main contacts, and operating mechanism; however, these risks remain manageable. Strategies to improve reliability are recommended through the evaluation of test data trends, data summarization, and equipment condition monitoring.
