Abstract

Perjalanan dinas merupakan aktivitas operasional yang penting bagi perusahaan, khususnya pada organisasi yang membutuhkan koordinasi antarlokasi secara rutin. Divisi Layanan Umum Perusahaan XYZ menerima laporan perjalanan dinas dari pihak travel dalam format Comma-Separated Values (CSV) yang digunakan sebagai dasar pengelolaan dan pelaporan perjalanan dinas. Laporan tersebut memiliki format yang tidak konsisten, seperti perbedaan penulisan teks, variasi penulisan departemen dan rute, serta data yang tidak lengkap, sehingga proses pembersihan dan penyesuaian data masih dilakukan secara manual. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan proses pengolahan data menjadi kurang efisien, rawan kesalahan, serta menyulitkan kebutuhan analisis dan audit. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun data warehouse beserta proses Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) untuk mengintegrasikan dan menstandardisasi data perjalanan dinas, serta membangun dashboard interaktif yang mendukung kebutuhan monitoring, analisis, dan audit pada Divisi Layanan Umum. Perancangan data warehouse dilakukan menggunakan metode Kimball Four-Step Dimensional Design dengan model star schema, sedangkan proses ETL dibangun menggunakan Pentaho Data Integration dan visualisasi data menggunakan Microsoft Power BI. Implementasi sistem terhadap data periode Januari–Juni 2025 menunjukkan bahwa dari 1.933 baris data sumber, sebanyak 1.872 baris data valid berhasil dimuat secara konsisten ke dalam data warehouse, sedangkan 61 baris data tidak valid dipisahkan ke tabel error. Selain itu, pengujian penerimaan pengguna (User Acceptance Testing) menunjukkan bahwa seluruh skenario pengujian memperoleh status Diterima. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dibangun mampu mendukung proses pengolahan data perjalanan dinas secara lebih terstruktur dan konsisten dibandingkan proses sebelumnya, serta menyediakan informasi yang mendukung kebutuhan monitoring, analisis, dan audit pada Divisi Layanan Umum.

Business travel is an important operational activity for companies, particularly for organizations that require regular coordination across multiple locations. The General Services Division at Company XYZ receives business travel reports from travel agencies in Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format, which are used as the basis for managing and reporting on business travel. These reports have inconsistent formats, such as variations in text formatting, differing spellings of departments and routes, and incomplete data, so the data cleaning and adjustment processes are still performed manually. These conditions make data processing inefficient, error-prone, and difficult for analysis and audit purposes. This study aims to design and build a data warehouse along with an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process to integrate and standardize official travel data, as well as to develop an interactive dashboard that supports monitoring, analysis, and audit needs within the General Services Division. The data warehouse was designed using the Kimball Four-Step Dimensional Design method with a star schema model, while the ETL process was built using Pentaho Data Integration and data visualization was implemented using Microsoft Power BI. System implementation using data from January–June 2025 showed that out of 1,933 source data rows, 1,872 valid data rows were successfully and consistently loaded into the data warehouse, while 61 invalid data rows were separated into an error table. Additionally, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed that all test scenarios received an “Accepted” status. Therefore, the developed system is capable of supporting the business travel data processing process in a more structured and consistent manner compared to the previous process, and provides information that supports the General Services Division’s monitoring, analysis, and audit needs.
