Abstract

Interbus Transformer (IBT) 500/150 kV di GITET Krian memiliki peran penting dalam menyalurkan daya dari sistem transmisi 500 kV ke sistem transmisi 150 kV di wilayah Jawa Timur. Gangguan berupa padamnya salah satu IBT dapat menyebabkan peningkatan pembebanan pada IBT yang masih beroperasi sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kondisi overload. Untuk mengantisipasi kondisi tersebut, diterapkan skema Overload Shedding (OLS) yang berfungsi melepaskan beban secara bertahap berdasarkan nilai setting arus dan waktu tunda yang telah ditentukan. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di PLN UP2D Jawa Timur Divisi Proteksi Sistem dengan tujuan mempelajari konfigurasi, pengujian, dan simulasi skema OLS pada IBT GITET Krian arah Mojokerto. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, pengumpulan data sistem, verifikasi setting relay OLS, serta pemodelan dan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa skema OLS mampu mengurangi pembebanan transformator secara bertahap melalui lima tahapan pelepasan beban sehingga kondisi overload dapat diatasi sebelum proteksi Over Current Relay (OCR) bekerja. Dengan demikian, penerapan skema OLS berkontribusi dalam menjaga keandalan, stabilitas, dan kontinuitas penyaluran tenaga listrik pada sistem transmisi 150 kV Jawa Timur.

The 500/150 kV Interbus Transformer (IBT) at the Krian GITET plays a critical role in transmitting power from the 500 kV transmission system to the 150 kV transmission system in East Java. A power outage in one of the IBTs can cause increased load on the remaining operating IBTs, potentially leading to an overload condition. To anticipate this situation, an Overload Shedding (OLS) scheme is implemented, which gradually sheds the load based on predetermined current and time delay settings. This internship was conducted at the PLN UP2D East Java System Protection Division to study the configuration, testing, and simulation of the OLS scheme at the Krian GITET IBT towards Mojokerto. The methods used included literature review, field observation, system data collection, verification of OLS relay settings, and modeling and simulation using ETAP software. Simulation results show that the OLS scheme is capable of gradually reducing transformer loading through five stages of load shedding, allowing overload conditions to be addressed before the Overcurrent Relay (OCR) protection operates. Therefore, the implementation of the OLS scheme contributes to maintaining the reliability, stability, and continuity of power distribution in the 150 kV East Java transmission system.
