Abstract

Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda merupakan kawasan konservasi dan ruang publik di Kota Bandung yang telah mengalami revitalisasi pada tahun 2022–2023. Revitalisasi tersebut meningkatkan kualitas kawasan, yang diikuti oleh kenaikan jumlah pengunjung sebesar 45,76%. Di sisi lain, meningkatnya popularitas Tahura di media sosial turut menarik minat kunjungan Generasi Z sehingga menjadikan kawasan ini sebagai salah satu destinasi yang banyak dikunjungi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh aktivitas dan persepsi pengunjung Generasi Z terhadap sense of place pada ruang publik pasca revitalisasi di Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) terhadap 200 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas digital dan aktivitas rekreatif-edukatif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sense of place, sedangkan aktivitas sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Seluruh dimensi persepsi, yaitu kenyamanan, keamanan, aksesibilitas digital, serta estetika dan kebersihan, juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sense of place. Aktivitas digital dan aksesibilitas digital merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam pembentukan sense of place pada pengunjung Generasi Z. Dengan demikian, pembentukan sense of place pada pengunjung Generasi Z dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi aktivitas selama berkunjung dan persepsi positif terhadap kualitas ruang publik pasca revitalisasi.

Ir. H. Djuanda Grand Forest Park is a conservation area and public space in the city of Bandung that underwent revitalization in 2022–2023. This revitalization improved the quality of the area, leading to a 45.76% increase in visitor numbers. Meanwhile, the park’s growing popularity on social media has also attracted Generation Z visitors, making it one of the most-visited destinations. This study aims to analyze the influence of Generation Z visitors’ activities and perceptions on their sense of place in the public space following the revitalization of Ir. H. Djuanda Forest Park. This study employs an explanatory quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with 200 respondents. The results indicate that digital activities and recreational-educational activities have a positive and significant effect on the sense of place, whereas social activities do not have a significant effect. All perception dimensions namely, comfort, safety, digital accessibility, as well as aesthetics and cleanliness also have a positive and significant effect on the sense of place. Digital activities and digital accessibility are the most influential factors in shaping the sense of place among Generation Z visitors. Thus, the formation of a sense of place among Generation Z visitors is influenced by a combination of activities during their visit and positive perceptions of the quality of public spaces following revitalization.
