Abstract

Kebocoran gas pada Expansion Joint dapat terdeteksi dengan dilakukannya predictive maintenance yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Thermography. Dalam penelitian ini objek yang digunakan adalah Expansion joint no. 5 pada HRSG unit 3.1 di PT. PJB UP GRESIK., penelitian dimulai dengan observasi data dan studi beberapa literature terkait, dilanjutkan dengan mentoring bersama teknisi predictive maintenance, kemudian dilakukan pengambilan gambar actual serta gambar thermography sesuai dengan SOP (Standard Operational Procedure). Pengambilan gambar inframerah dilakukan dengan menggunakan kamera inframerah FLIR T640. Setelah dilakukan pengambilan gambar maka dilakukan analisa dari gambar thermography yang didapat berdasarkan standart EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kebocoran expansion joint diakibatkan oleh adanya 3 hal yaitu expansi thermal yang berlebihan, masuknya exhaust gas dari turbin gas kedalam lapisan dalam hingga ke lapisan terluar expansion joint dan pemakaian yang melebihi lifetime expansion joint. Setelah dilakukan perawatan dengan penggantian expansion joint, temperatur expansion joint pada saat mengalami kebocoran adalah 196.2OC menurun menjadi 72.5OC serta differential temperatur yang sebelumnya critical yaitu 128.5OC turun menjadi temperatur normal yaitu 4.8OC "=============================================================================================" The leakage of the expansion joint can be detected by thermography method of predictive maintenance In this research, the object which used is Expansion joint no. 5 on HRSG 3.1 unit at PT. PJB UP GRESIK. The research started from collecting some data at PT. PJB UP GRESIK, and study some literature, continued by mentoring with the technician of predictive maintenance, and then captured some actual picture with some thermography picture based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). The picture was taken by using the FLIR T640 infrared camera. The result from the picture that have been taken will be analyzed based on the standard table of EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute). From the research, leakage of the expansion joint are caused by an over thermal expansion, the exhaust gas from gas turbine enter the inner layer to the outer layer of expansion joint and the used of expansion joint that exceeds its lifetime. After maintenance with replacement of expansion joint, the temperature when the expansion joint leaked is 196.2OC decreased to 72.5OC and the differential temperature when the status was critical is 128.5OC decreased to a normal temperature that is 4.8OC
