Abstract

Geometric deviation in structural elements, such as column plumbness, wall flatness, and planar regularity, is an early trigger of structural damage, yet conventional field inspection using Total Station is less capable of representing structural form completely. This study analyzed the geometric deviation of the Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al Fithrah building, Surabaya, using point cloud data from Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) scanning, rinex data from GNSS observation, and distance and angle data from Total Station. Cloud-to-cloud registration of 203 scan setups produced an error of 0.002 m, georeferencing produced an Absolute Mean Error of Control of 0.009 m, and model accuracy testing against ICPs yielded RMSE values of 0.011 m (X), 0.025 m (Y), and 0.006 m (Z), all within the established tolerances. Geometric analysis revealed elevation discrepancies between floors with the largest difference of 491 mm at Level 4, column dimensions consistently larger than design with the largest difference of +162 mm at Floor 1, and column plumbness mostly within ACI 117-10 tolerance except Column K9 with a plumbness of 16.5 mm. Balok 3 (beams at grids 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 15, and 16) showed an elevation deviation of 20 mm exceeding the ACI 117-10 tolerance (±19.05 mm). Based on positional accuracy and geometric representation, the resulting 3D model of structural elements was classified as achieving Level of Detail (LoD) 4. These results demonstrate that TLS effectively identifies geometric deviation quantitatively and objectively as a basis for technical evaluation and risk mitigation.
