Abstract
UMKM laundry merupakan salah satu sektor jasa yang terus berkembang di Indonesia, namun sebagian besar masih mengelola kegiatan operasional berdasarkan pengalaman tanpa perencanaan yang terstruktur, menyebabkan pemanfaatan sumber daya belum optimal sehingga berpotensi menurunkan keuntungan usaha. Permasalahan tersebut juga dialami oleh UMKM Selim Laundry. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) untuk merepresentasikan kondisi operasional UMKM Selim Laundry, menentukan kombinasi layanan dan penggunaan sumber daya yang menghasilkan keuntungan maksimum, serta mengimplementasikan model sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan. Fungsi tujuan model berupa maksimasi keuntungan dengan mempertimbangkan kendala kapasitas mesin cuci, mesin pengering, setrika, tenaga kerja, permintaan layanan, serta variabel integer dan biner. Penyelesaian menggunakan metode Simplex dan Branch and Bound, dan divalidasi menggunakan data operasional UMKM Selim Laundry, lalu selanjutnya dilakukan what-if analysis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model mampu menghasilkan solusi optimal dengan keuntungan maksimum sebesar Rp736.159,71 pada kondisi eksisting. Kapasitas mesin cuci merupakan bottleneck utama sehingga menjadi faktor yang paling memengaruhi peningkatan keuntungan. Analisis skenario menunjukkan bahwa penambahan kapasitas mesin cuci memberikan peningkatan keuntungan yang signifikan apabila permintaan meningkat. Selain itu, implementasi model dalam bentuk lembar kerja memungkinkan pengguna memasukkan parameter operasional secara mandiri serta estimasi keuntungan secara otomatis. Dengan demikian, model yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu UMKM Selim Laundry.

Laundry MSMEs are among the service sectors that continue to grow in Indonesia. However, many still manage their operations based primarily on experience rather than structured planning, resulting in inefficient resource utilization and reduced profit potential. This issue is also observed at Selim Laundry MSME. This study aims to develop a Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) model that represents the operational conditions of Selim Laundry MSME, determine the optimal combination of service types and resource allocation to maximize profit, and implement the model as a decision support system. The objective function is formulated to maximize profit while considering constraints related to the capacities of washing machines, dryers, ironing facilities, labor availability, service demand, and integer and binary decision variables. The optimization problem is solved using the Simplex and Branch and Bound methods, validated with operational data from Selim Laundry MSME, and further evaluated through what-if analysis. The results indicate that the proposed model achieves an optimal solution with a maximum profit of IDR 736,159.71 under existing operating conditions. The washing machine capacity is identified as the primary bottleneck, making it the most influential factor affecting profit improvement. Scenario analysis further demonstrates that increasing washing machine capacity significantly improves profit when service demand rises. In addition, the model is implemented as a spreadsheet-based application that enables users to independently input operational parameters and automatically estimate potential profit. Therefore, the developed model can serve as an effective decision support system for assisting operational planning and resource allocation at Selim Laundry MSME.
