Abstract

Sistem dozometer berperan dalam mengatur feed rate pada proses produksi pupuk NPK sehingga kestabilan operasinya perlu dijaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakteristik gangguan sistem dozometer berdasarkan historical data, mengidentifikasi penyebab utama gangguan menggunakan metode Root Cause Analysis (RCA), serta menyusun rekomendasi Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM). Analisis dilakukan terhadap parameter feed rate, set point, belt load, dan belt speed pada kondisi running normal dan start up plant, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis RCA menggunakan fishbone diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi running normal memiliki CV sebesar 2,06%, sedangkan pada start up plant terjadi overshoot 25,02%, rise time 62 detik, dan settling time 551 detik. Selain itu, belt load menjadi parameter yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perubahan feed rate dengan R² sebesar 0,9234. Berdasarkan hasil RCA, disusun rekomendasi Condition-Based Maintenance melalui pemantauan parameter operasi dan kondisi komponen kritis untuk mendukung deteksi dini gangguan pada sistem dozometer.

The dosing system plays a role in regulating the feed rate in the NPK fertilizer production process, so its operational stability must be maintained. This study aims to identify the characteristics of dosing system malfunctions based on historical data, identify the root causes of these malfunctions using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method, and develop recommendations for Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM). An analysis was conducted on the feed rate, set point, belt load, and belt speed parameters under normal operating conditions and during plant startup, followed by an RCA analysis using a fishbone diagram. The results showed that under normal operating conditions, the coefficient of variation (CV) was 2.06%, whereas during plant startup, there was an overshoot of 25.02%, a rise time of 62 seconds, and a settling time of 551 seconds. Furthermore, belt load was found to be the parameter most influential on changes in feed rate, with an R² of 0.9234. Based on the RCA results, recommendations for Condition-Based Maintenance were formulated through the monitoring of operating parameters and the condition of critical components to support the early detection of malfunctions in the dosometer system.
