Abstract

Beberapa villa compact kini menyediakan aktivitas bebakaran (memanggang/bakar-bakaran) sebagai daya tarik rekreasi bersama. Namun, meja bebakaran yang tersedia umumnya l masih generik, belum dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan interaksi sosial pengguna, belum mengintegrasikan fungsi persiapan-memasak-penyajian dalam satu furnitur, dan belum mempertimbangkan keterbatasan lahan pada villa tipe kecil (tipe 36). Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang meja bebakaran interaktif semi-outdoor yang mengoptimalkan interaksi sosial, mengintegrasikan fungsi kerja dalam satu meja, serta efisien terhadap keterbatasan lahan. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, dilanjutkan kajian antropometri-ergonomi sebagai dasar dimensi, serta proses ideasi hingga pembuatan purwarupa. Hasil rancangan menghadirkan tiga solusi utama: (1) sistem transformable top-table persegi ke lingkaran dengan orientasi duduk 360° untuk mengoptimalkan interaksi sosial; (2) integrasi area kerja multifungsi dalam satu meja; serta (3) mekanisme drop-leaf dan kaki knockdown untuk efisiensi ruang dan mobilitas. Rancangan ini diharapkan menjadi solusi furnitur komunal yang meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman bersosialisasi tamu villa secara efisien dari sisi ruang dan mobilitas.

Several compact villas now offer BBQ (grilling/barbecue) activities as a shared recreational attraction. However, the available BBQ tables are generally still generic, not yet designed to optimize users' social interaction, have not integrated preparation-cooking-serving functions into a single piece of furniture, and have not considered space limitations in small-type villas (type 36). This study aims to design a semi-outdoor interactive BBQ table that optimizes social interaction, integrates work functions into a single table, and is space-efficient. The research methods include observation, interviews, and questionnaires to understand user needs, followed by anthropometric-ergonomic studies as the basis for dimensions, as well as an ideation process leading to prototyping. The design results present three main solutions: (1) a square-to-circle transformable top-table system with a 360° seating orientation to optimize social interaction; (2) integration of a multifunctional workspace within a single table; and (3) a drop-leaf mechanism and knockdown legs for space efficiency and mobility. This design is expected to serve as a communal furniture solution that enhances the quality of villa guests' socializing experience efficiently in terms of space and mobility..
