Abstract

Rancangan solusi dirumuskan melalui Point of View dan How Might We, kemudian diwujudkan sebagai prototipe high-fidelity berbasis web.

The development of digital art has opened new opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts to interact through commission-based services that utilize technology as the primary medium. However, the digital art commission process, which generally takes place on social media, still faces various challenges, such as unstructured briefs, limited pricing transparency and workflow , uncertainty regarding transaction security, and difficulties in assessing an artist’s credibility and authenticity. This research aims to design a prototype for a digital art commission platform that centers on the needs of both parties using a Design Thinking approach through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test, and evaluation. The empathize stage involved ten informants, whose findings were synthesized into user personas and empathy map. The solution design was formulated through the Point of View and How Might We methods, then realized as a web-based high-fidelity prototype. The prototype was validated through task-based usability testing with ten participants by measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The test results showed a 100% task success rate among the art enthusiasts group and an average of 95% among the artist group, as well as an overall System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 83.5, which is classified as very good and falls within the acceptable acceptance level. These results indicate that the prototype has addressed user needs, with several recommendations for improvement serving as the basis for further development.
