Abstract
Getaran (vibrasi) yang terjadi pada Main Seal Oil Pump 1A di PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton Unit 1 dapat menyebabkan penurunan keandalan peralatan, meningkatkan risiko kerusakan komponen, serta mengganggu kontinuitas operasi pembangkit listrik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tindakan corrective maintenance untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab utama vibrasi dan menentukan langkah perbaikan yang tepat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui metode observasi lapangan, pengambilan data, studi literatur, analisis kondisi peralatan, serta pembongkaran dan inspeksi komponen pompa yang meliputi shaft, bearing, mechanical seal, coupling, dan alignment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama peningkatan vibrasi bukan berasal dari kerusakan shaft, melainkan dipengaruhi oleh kondisi bearing, mechanical seal, ketidaksejajaran (misalignment), serta faktor pendukung lainnya yang memengaruhi kestabilan putaran pompa. Tindakan corrective maintenance yang dilakukan berhasil mengatasi penyebab vibrasi sehingga kondisi operasi Main Seal Oil Pump 1A menjadi lebih stabil, meningkatkan keandalan sistem pelumasan, serta mendukung kontinuitas operasi pembangkit secara optimal.

Vibration occurring in the Main Seal Oil Pump 1A at PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton Unit 1 can reduce equipment reliability, increase the risk of component failure, and disrupt power plant operation. Therefore, corrective maintenance is required to identify the root causes of vibration and determine appropriate corrective actions. This industrial internship employed field observation, data collection, literature review, equipment condition analysis, and dismantling inspection of pump components, including the shaft, bearings, mechanical seal, coupling, and alignment. The analysis revealed that the primary source of excessive vibration was not shaft damage but was mainly associated with bearing condition, mechanical seal degradation, shaft misalignment, and other supporting factors affecting pump rotational stability. The corrective maintenance activities successfully eliminated the causes of vibration, resulting in more stable operation of the Main Seal Oil Pump 1A, improved lubrication system reliability, and enhanced continuity of power plant operation.
