Abstract
Kantor Telkom Daerah (Telda) Madiun memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang Telkom sebagai perusahaan telekomunikasi nasional dengan mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur dan platform digital di Kota Madiun. Namun, berdasarkan data eksisting dan observasi lingkungan kerja, kualitas desain ruang kantor Telda Madiun belum optimal dalam mendukung kesejahteraan karyawan dan pengoptimalan efisiensi energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam merancang desain interior kantor Telda Madiun menggunakan pendekatan Smart Sustainable Office (SSO) yang mengintegrasikan aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan, smart office, efifiensi energi, dan user-oriented design yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan pengguna dan mencakup unsur company identity. Metode dalam perancangan desain menggunakan design thinking yang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data kondisi lapangan dan kebutuhan pengguna, identifikasi masalah dan analisis kebutuhan pengguna, pengembangan ide solusi desain, hingga bentuk implementasi desain baik secara konseptual dan konkret. Hasil perancangan desain interior menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan SSO mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan pengguna, efisiensi energi, dan penguatan identitas perusahaan. Melalui perancangan desain interior kantor Telda Madiun dengan pendekatan SSO, diharapkan desain ruang kantor dapat membantu menciptakan kantor yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan dengan tetap mengedepankan estetika, identitas perusahaan, dan kebutuhan pengguna.

The Telkom Regional Office (Telda) Madiun plays a strategic role in supporting Telkom as a national telecommunications company by facilitating the development of digital infrastructure and platforms in the city of Madiun. However, based on existing data and workplace observations, the current office interior design has not yet optimally supported employee wellbeing nor achieved effective energy efficiency. This study aims to develop an interior design proposal for Telda Madiun using a Smart Sustainable Office (SSO) approach, which integrates environmental sustainability, smart office systems, energy efficiency, and user-oriented design. The approach is centered on user needs while also incorporating elements of company identity. The design process adopts a design thinking methodology, encompassing stages of field data collection and user requirement assessment, problem identification and user needs analysis, development of design solutions, and the implementation of both conceptual and practical design strategies. The results indicate that the application of the SSO approach significantly enhances user wellbeing, improves energy efficiency, and strengthens corporate identity within the workspace. Through this interior design proposal, the Telda Madiun office is expected to evolve into an environmentally responsible and sustainable workplace that balances functional performance with aesthetic quality, corporate representation, and user-centered needs.
