Abstract

The pop-up event phenomenon has emerged as an effective marketing strategy, demanding continuous innovation in marketing and sales. In this context, florists are among the parties benefiting from the pop-up event phenomenon. However, they also facing significant challenges regarding logistical efficiency and the functional limitations of their workstations when participating in these pop-up events. This research aims to design a workstation that optimally integrates the arrangement and display areas into a portable unit, providing an effective solution to the functional and mobility limitations at event locations. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, involving a literature review and a needs analysis conducted through interviews with florist business owners (Kalerose Florist & Mulamula.Flo) and event organizers. The unit's structure is designed to be foldable and knock-down, featuring a system that is easy to transport, assemble, and adapt to various site conditions. The results of this workstation design are expected to facilitate the operational mobility of florists, positively impact product visibility, and create a more interactive and memorable retail experience for consumers.
