Abstract

Pembangunan Bendungan Cibeet di Kabupaten Bogor direncanakan sebagai infrastruktur sumber daya air untuk mendukung penyediaan air baku, pengendalian banjir, dan pemenuhan kebutuhan air di wilayah sekitarnya. Pemilihan tipe konstruksi tubuh bendungan (maindam) menjadi aspek penting dalam perencanaan karena harus mempertimbangkan aspek keamanan, kondisi geologi, metode konstruksi, biaya, serta ketersediaan material. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan alternatif desain maindam Bendungan Cibeet yang paling optimal melalui perbandingan bendungan urugan, bendungan beton Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC), dan bendungan komposit urugan–beton RCC.
Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis aspek teknis dan aspek umum pada setiap alternatif desain. Analisis teknis meliputi stabilitas lereng, stabilitas geser, stabilitas guling, daya dukung tanah pondasi, dan rembesan menggunakan perangkat lunak GeoStudio (modul SEEP/W dan SLOPE/W), serta analisis stabilitas bendungan beton RCC secara manual berdasarkan standar yang berlaku. Analisis umum meliputi metode pelaksanaan konstruksi, biaya konstruksi berdasarkan Bill of Quantities (BoQ), dan ketersediaan material di lokasi penelitian. Seluruh parameter kemudian dievaluasi menggunakan metode pembobotan dengan bobot 55% untuk aspek teknis dan 45% untuk aspek umum.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh alternatif desain memenuhi persyaratan keamanan pada berbagai kondisi pembebanan yang ditinjau. Pada alternatif bendungan urugan, Model 2 dengan material random sand gravel memberikan kinerja terbaik dibandingkan Model 1. Pada alternatif bendungan beton RCC, seluruh kondisi pembebanan memenuhi persyaratan stabilitas, dengan nilai faktor keamanan, eksentrisitas, dan tegangan pondasi berada dalam batas yang diizinkan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dan pembobotan, alternatif bendungan komposit 70% urugan dan 30% beton RCC memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 83,46, sehingga ditetapkan sebagai desain terpilih. Desain tersebut memberikan keseimbangan terbaik antara aspek teknis dan ekonomis, dengan tingkat keamanan yang memenuhi persyaratan, biaya konstruksi yang lebih efisien dibandingkan bendungan RCC penuh, serta ketersediaan material yang lebih baik dibandingkan bendungan urugan penuh.

The Cibeet Dam, located in Bogor Regency, is planned as a water resources infrastructure to support raw water supply, flood control, and water demand fulfillment in the surrounding area. The selection of the main dam type is a critical aspect of the design process, as it must consider structural safety, geological conditions, construction methods, construction costs, and material availability. This study aims to determine the optimum main dam alternative by comparing three dam types: embankment dam, Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) dam, and composite embankment–RCC dam.
The research was conducted by evaluating both technical and general aspects of each design alternative. The technical evaluation included slope stability, sliding stability, overturning stability, foundation bearing capacity, and seepage analyses using GeoStudio software (SEEP/W and SLOPE/W modules), while the stability analysis of the RCC dam was performed manually in accordance with the applicable design standards. The general evaluation considered construction methods, construction costs based on the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and material availability at the project site. All evaluation parameters were assessed using a weighted scoring method, with 55% assigned to technical aspects and 45% to general aspects.
The results indicate that all design alternatives satisfy the required safety criteria under the investigated loading conditions. For the embankment dam alternative, Model 2 using random sand gravel demonstrated better performance than Model 1. For the RCC dam alternative, all loading conditions met the stability requirements, with factors of safety, eccentricity, and foundation stresses remaining within the allowable limits. Based on the weighted evaluation, the composite dam consisting of 70% embankment and 30% RCC achieved the highest score of 83,46, making it the selected design alternative. This configuration provides the best balance between technical performance and economic feasibility by satisfying all safety requirements, reducing construction costs compared with a full RCC dam, and offering better material availability than a full embankment dam.
