Abstract

Kesejahteraan pekerja di lingkungan perkantoran sangat dipengaruhi oleh elemen fisik ruang yang membentuk pola perilaku dan interaksi penggunanya. Kesejahteraan ini dibagi menjadi kesejahteraan fisik yang dicapai dari gaya hidup sehat dan kesejahteraan sosial yang dicapai dari terpenuhinya interaksi sosial yang bermakna. PT Avia Avian Tbk. merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang mementingkan kenyamanan dan kepuasan karyawannya saat bekerja. Kafetaria Avian Office Tower Surabaya saat ini menghadapi tantangan berupa tata letak dan estetika interior yang terkesan kaku dan kurang mencerminkan identitas perusahaan, serta akomodasi terhadap gaya hidup sehat yang diinginkan oleh penggunanya. Oleh karena itu, perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang interior kafetaria guna memfasilitasi kebutuhan social wellbeing dan physical wellbeing karyawan. Pendekatan ini mengimplementasikan konsep sinergi the third place milik Oldenburg yang mentransformasi kafetaria menjadi fasilitas multifungsi guna menyeimbangkan tuntutan kegiatan professional dengan ruang relaksasi sosial. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka design thinking melalui pengumpulan data primer berupa observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, denga evaluasi akhir secara objektif menggunakan metode Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Hasil redesain ini menawarkan optimalisasi tata ruang melalui pengorganisasian zonasi yang adaptif terhadap berbagai mode interaksi, sekaligus mengintegrasikan pendekatan choice architecture sebagai strategi dorongan asupan nutrisi dan gaya hidup sehat pekerja. Secara garis besar, implementasi perancangan ini mentransformasi kafetaria menjadi medium yang terbukti mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan keberlanjutan produktivitas kerja karyawan Avian Office Tower.

Employee wellbeing in an office environment is highly influenced by the physical spatial elements that shape user behavior and interaction patterns. This wellbeing is divided into physical wellbeing, achieved through a healthy lifestyle, and social wellbeing, achieved through the fulfillment of meaningful social interactions. PT Avia Avian Tbk. is a company that prioritizes the comfort and satisfaction of its employees at work. The Avian Office Tower Surabaya cafeteria currently faces challenges regarding its layout and interior aesthetics, which appear rigid and lack the company's identity, as well as the accommodation of the healthy lifestyle desired by its users. Therefore, this design aims to redesign the cafeteria interior to facilitate the social and physical wellbeing needs of the employees. This approach implements Oldenburg's "third place" synergy concept, which transforms the cafeteria into a multifunctional facility to balance the demands of professional activities with spaces for social relaxation. The research methodology utilizes a design thinking framework through primary data collection consisting of observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with an objective final evaluation using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The results of this redesign offer spatial optimization through an adaptive zoning organization for various modes of interaction, while simultaneously integrating a choice architecture approach as a strategy to encourage nutritional intake and a healthy lifestyle for workers. Broadly speaking, the implementation of this design transforms the cafeteria into an instrument proven capable of improving the wellbeing and sustained work productivity of Avian Office Tower employees.
