Abstract
Sistem listrik dan pendinginan pada armada Kereta Rel Diesel Indonesia (KRDI) sangat penting untuk memastikan keselamatan, efisiensi, dan kenyamanan dalam operasi transportasi kereta api. Genset Deutz TCD 2013 L06 4V dengan kapasitas 250 kVA berfungsi sebagai sumber tenaga utama untuk sistem bantuan (auxiliary system) di KRDI. Penelitian dan kegiatan kerja praktik ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis penyebab-penyebab terjadinya kelebihan suhu pada Genset Deutz TCD 2013 L06 4V serta mengevaluasi sistem perawatan berkala yang digunakan di Depo Lokomotif Surabaya Pasar Turi, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 8 Surabaya.

The electrical and cooling systems on the Indonesian Diesel Rail Train (KRDI) fleet are crucial to ensure safety, efficiency, and comfort in rail transportation operations. The Deutz TCD 2013 L06 4V Genset with a capacity of 250 kVA serves as the main power source for the auxiliary system at KRDI. This research and practical work activity was conducted to analyze the causes of overheating in the Deutz TCD 2013 L06 4V Genset and to evaluate the periodic maintenance system used at the Surabaya Pasar Turi Locomotive Depot, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP 8 Surabaya.
