Abstract
Pergeseran kebiasaan belajar mahasiswa dari lingkungan formal menuju lingkungan belajar informal telah mendorong perubahan fungsi cafe menjadi study café, yaitu ruang yang tidak hanya digunakan untuk bersantai tetapi juga sebagai tempat belajar. Perubahan fungsi tersebut menuntut kualitas pencahayaan yang mampu mendukung aktivitas belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi desain dan kualitas pencahayaan pada study café, mengetahui tingkat performa belajar pengguna, serta menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas pencahayaan dengan performa belajar pengguna. Penelitian menggunakan paradigma post-positivist dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan pengukuran lapangan, serta kuesioner. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran iluminansi dan CCT serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada 225 mahasiswa pengguna study café di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata iluminasi sudah diatas standar. Namun masih ditemukan ketidakmerataan pencahayaan dan gangguan silau akibat alami. Tingkat performa belajar pengguna secara umum berada pada kategori baik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa iluminansi dan CCT tidak memiliki hubungan yang dengan performa belajar. Sebaliknya, persepsi kenyamanan pencahayaan, khususnya LCV dan CCV, memiliki hubungan positif dengan konsentrasi, durasi belajar, dan produktivitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kenyamanan visual yang dirasakan pengguna lebih berperan dalam mendukung performa belajar dibandingkan parameter fisik pencahayaan.

The shift in students' learning habits from formal learning environments to informal learning spaces has transformed cafés into study cafés, which function not only as places for leisure but also as learning environments. This change requires lighting conditions that adequately support learning activities. This study aims to analyze the lighting design and quality of study cafés, examine users' learning performance, and investigate the relationship between lighting quality and learning performance. This study adopted a post-positivist paradigm employing a correlational research method. Data collection methods encompassed field observations, direct measurements, and questionnaire surveys. Data were collected through measurements of illuminance and Correlated Color Temperature (CCT), as well as questionnaires administered to 225 university students using study cafés in Surabaya. The results indicate that the average illuminance exceeded the minimum recommended standard for learning activities. However, uneven lighting distribution and glare caused by natural daylight were still observed. Overall, users' learning performance was categorized as good. Correlation analysis revealed that illuminance and CCT did not show a significant relationship with learning performance. In contrast, perceived lighting comfort, particularly Luminous Comfort Vote (LCV) and Color Comfort Vote (CCV), demonstrated positive relationships with concentration, study duration, and productivity. These findings suggest that users' perceived visual comfort plays a more important role in supporting learning performance than objective lighting parameters.
