Abstract
Sungai Surabaya merupakan salah satu sungai yang masih menghadapi permasalahan penumpukan sampah dan pertumbuhan gulma air, seperti eceng gondok dan lumut. Keberadaan gulma air dapat menghambat aliran sungai serta mengurangi efektivitas proses pembersihan menggunakan Trash Skimmer Boat, karena sistem yang ada umumnya hanya berfungsi mengumpulkan sampah terapung tanpa dilengkapi mekanisme pemotongan gulma. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem Circular Rotavator Blade yang terintegrasi pada Trash Skimmer Boat guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembersihan gulma air di Sungai Surabaya. Penelitian diawali dengan perancangan mekanisme Circular Rotavator Blade menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kekuatan struktur menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA) pada ANSYS Workbench dengan variasi ketebalan blade 6 mm, 8 mm, dan 10 mm serta variasi sudut ketajaman 20°, 25°, dan 30°. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi Equivalent Stress, Total Deformation, dan Safety Factor. Selain itu, dilakukan perancangan sistem hidrolik yang meliputi pemilihan motor hidrolik, silinder hidrolik, dan Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) berdasarkan kebutuhan torsi, gaya, debit, dan daya sistem. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan rancangan Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) serta wiring sistem kelistrikan sebagai pendukung pengoperasian sistem hidrolik. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menghasilkan rancangan Circular Rotavator Blade beserta sistem hidrolik dan kelistrikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional Trash Skimmer Boat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembersihan gulma air dan menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan teknologi pembersih sungai yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan.

The Surabaya River continues to face problems related to the accumulation of solid waste and the excessive growth of aquatic weeds, such as water hyacinth and algae. The presence of aquatic weeds obstructs river flow and reduces the effectiveness of waste collection using a Trash Skimmer Boat, as the existing system is generally designed only to collect floating debris without a weed-cutting mechanism. Therefore, this study aims to design a Circular Rotavator Blade system integrated into a Trash Skimmer Boat to improve the effectiveness of aquatic weed removal in the Surabaya River. The study began with the design of the Circular Rotavator Blade mechanism using SolidWorks software. Structural performance was then evaluated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS Workbench by applying blade thickness variations of 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm, as well as blade edge angles of 20°, 25°, and 30°. The analysis focused on three parameters: Equivalent Stress, Total Deformation, and Safety Factor. In addition, a hydraulic system was designed by selecting a hydraulic motor, hydraulic cylinder, and Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) based on the required torque, force, flow rate, and power. The study also developed a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and an electrical wiring system to support the operation of the hydraulic system. The expected outcome of this study is a Circular Rotavator Blade design, together with hydraulic and electrical systems that meet the operational requirements of a Trash Skimmer Boat. The proposed design is expected to improve the efficiency of aquatic weed removal and serve as a reference for the development of more effective and sustainable river cleaning technology.
