Abstract

Arsitektur ekologi adalah salah satu pendekatan dalam arsitektur yang berfokus pada hubungan antara manusia dengan alam serta lingkungan di sekitarnya. Prinsip-prinsip arsitektur berupa peghematan energi, penggunaan material yang ramah, serta harmoni desain dengan lingkungan tapaknya. Sejalan dengan teori ekologi, ekowisata menjadi salah satu konsep perwisataan yang mengedepankan sisi edukasi, rekreasi, serta keterlibatan masyarakat. Integrasi antara arsitektur ekologi dengan ekowisata menjadi peluang terciptanya wisata yang tidak hanya memberikan ruang rekreasi, namun juga berfungsi sebagai wadah edukasi, konservasi, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Mengacu pada integrasi ini, sarana wisata dapat menjawab sebuah permasalahan yakni degradasi lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh pembangunan tidak terkendali. Selain itu, menjawab tentang kebutuhan wisata yang lebih bertanggungjawab. Secara nasional, potensi desa wisata terkhususnya kopi memiliki peluang yang baik untuk dikembangkan menjadi sarana rekreasi yang memiliki nilai pembelajaran. Namun, pengolahan wisata hanya tur sederhana tanpa adanya fasilitas yang baik. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya perancangan yang mambu menjembatani potensi lokal dengan kebutuhan wisata berkelanjutan. Agar proses perancangan sejalan dengan konteks tersebut, perancangan ini menggunakan alur kerja force-based framework untuk memetakan aspek lingkungan, sosial, serta budaya sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan desain. Pada akhirnya, integrasi arsitektur ekologi dengan ekowisata diwujudkan dalam perancangan ekowisata berbasis kopi sebagai wisata yang menjaga keharmonisan antara manusia dengan alam sekaligus memperkuat nilai edukatif dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Ecological architecture is an architectural approach that emphasizes the relationship between humans, nature, and the surrounding environment. Its principles include energy efficiency, the use of environmentally friendly materials, and design harmony with the site's natural context. In line with ecological theory, ecotourism represents a tourism concept that prioritizes education, recreation, and community participation. The integration of ecological architecture and ecotourism creates an opportunity to develop tourism destinations that not only provide recreational spaces but also function as platforms for education, conservation, and community empowerment. Based on this integration, tourism facilities can address environmental degradation caused by uncontrolled development while also responding to the growing demand for more responsible and sustainable tourism. At the national level, coffee-based tourism villages possess significant potential to be developed into recreational destinations with educational value. However, tourism activities are often limited to simple tours with inadequate supporting facilities. This condition highlights the need for a design approach capable of bridging local potential with the requirements of sustainable tourism. To ensure that the design process responds to this context, the force-based framework was employed to analyze environmental, social, and cultural aspects as the basis for design decision-making. Ultimately, the integration of ecological architecture and ecotourism is realized through the design of a coffee-based ecotourism destination that maintains harmony between humans and nature while strengthening educational values and promoting community empowerment.
