Abstract
Pertumbuhan industri event di Indonesia turut mendorong meningkatnya kebutuhan akan fasilitas venue yang adaptif, termasuk di Kota Surabaya. Ciputra Hall Surabaya sebagai salah satu auditorium premium telah memiliki fasilitas teknis yang memadai, seperti sistem tata suara line array, LED videotron, dan panggung yang luas. Namun, karakter ruang interior yang ada masih bersifat statis dan homogen, belum sepenuhnya mendukung fleksibilitas ruang dalam merespons berbagai jenis acara seperti konser, teater, seminar, dan gala event, serta belum merepresentasikan identitas Ciputra secara kuat dan konsisten. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk meredesain interior Auditorium Ciputra Hall Surabaya dengan pendekatan Adaptive Design guna menciptakan karakter ruang yang responsif terhadap berbagai jenis acara sekaligus menghadirkan identitas Ciputra secara visual. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah design thinking, meliputi tahap Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, hingga Test. Analisis dilakukan terhadap kebutuhan pengguna, aktivitas, standar auditorium, serta kondisi eksisting ruang, yang kemudian dirumuskan menjadi konsep makro dan mikro desain. Hasil redesain menunjukkan bahwa karakter ruang berhasil diperkuat melalui penerapan identitas visual Ciputra pada pemilihan warna, material, bentuk panel geometris, elemen kayu, serta pengolahan pencahayaan yang menciptakan suasana modern, hangat, dan representatif. Konsep Adaptive Design diwujudkan melalui penerapan portable stage, acoustic curtain roll, video mapping, dan adaptive lighting sehingga auditorium mampu menyesuaikan konfigurasi ruang, kualitas akustik, pengalaman visual, dan atmosfer sesuai kebutuhan berbagai jenis acara. Hasil uji validasi menggunakan metode Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) memperoleh nilai sebesar 95,00% dengan kategori Sangat Puas (SP), yang menunjukkan bahwa desain yang dihasilkan mampu menjawab kebutuhan pengguna akan auditorium yang fleksibel, fungsional, dan memiliki karakter ruang yang kuat.

The growth of the event industry in Indonesia has increased the demand for adaptive venue facilities, including in the city of Surabaya. Ciputra Hall Surabaya, as one of the premium auditoriums, is already equipped with adequate technical facilities such as a line array sound system, LED videotron, and a spacious stage. However, the existing interior space character remains static and homogeneous, not yet fully supporting spatial flexibility in responding to various types of events such as concerts, theater performances, seminars, and gala events, and has not strongly and consistently represented Ciputra's identity. This design project aims to redesign the interior of Ciputra Hall Auditorium Surabaya using an Adaptive Design approach to create a space character that is responsive to various types of events while visually presenting Ciputra's identity. The design method applied is design thinking, covering the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Analysis was conducted on user needs, activities, auditorium standards, and existing spatial conditions, which were then formulated into macro and micro design concepts. The redesign results show that the space character was successfully strengthened through the application of Ciputra's visual identity in color selection, materials, geometric panel forms, wooden elements, and lighting treatment that create a modern, warm, and representative atmosphere. The Adaptive Design concept is realized through the application of a portable stage, acoustic curtain roll, video mapping, and adaptive lighting, allowing the auditorium to adjust its spatial configuration, acoustic quality, visual experience, and atmosphere according to the needs of various event types. Validation testing using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method resulted in a score of 95.00%, categorized as Very Satisfied (VS), indicating that the resulting design successfully meets user needs for a flexible, functional auditorium with a strong space character.
