Abstract

In the midst of high operational demands of the energy sector, the quality of the physical environment of the office is a crucial factor for mental health and work productivity. PT PLN Indonesia Power UBH faces challenges in the Main Work Area and supporting facilities such as the Gym, Canteen, and Co-Working Space which have problems in ergonomics, comfort, and environmental noise levels that can accelerate the accumulation of mental fatigue (burnout) and reduce employee focus. This design formulates an interior design strategy through the Restorative Workplace approach as an effort to optimize work psychology. By adopting the Contemporary Modern style, this design optimizes non-structural interior elements through the application of materials with a variety of natural textures, warm neutral wall paint, and the integration of indoor plants. The results of this design offer an interior ecosystem that is able to control visual and auditory distractions, thereby creating a comfortable and calming activity transition. The implementation of this design aims to reduce cognitive stress levels and improve the physical and psychological well-being of employees in a sustainable manner through the provision of humane, ergonomic, adaptive work facilities and functioning as an effective recovery zone
