Abstract
Bedasarkan fakta empirik relokasi pascaerupsi Gunung Semeru, Kabupaten Lumajang Tahun 2021, 751 unit hunian kosong akibat warga kembali beraktivitas di zona merah. Masalah ini dipicu oleh desain hunian Tipe 36 yang kurang sempurna mengakomodasi keragaman pola penghidupan (livelihood) serta fasilitas produksi warga. Merespons hal tersebut, perancangan ini bertujuan mengembangkan purwarupa kawasan "Resilient Livelihood Settlement". Pendekatan desain menyintesiskan tiga landasan utama: (1) Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) untuk pemetaan parameter keruangan sosio-ekonomi; (2) Force-Based Design untuk merespons topografi dan tekanan alam; (3) serta Housing by People yang mengedepankan adaptabilitas hunian. Sintesis ini mensinergikan fleksibilitas ruang produksi dengan standar resilient bencana. Hasil perancangan skala makro berupa zonasi interlocking empat klaster profesi (pertanian, peternakan, pertambangan, wiraswasta) yang diikat infrastruktur ekologis. Pada skala mikro, diterapkan sistem hunian modular dan progressive housing (rumah tumbuh) untuk efisiensi pemisahan zona domestik dan produksi, dilengkapi struktur atap curam penahan beban abu vulkanik. Arsitektur ini diharapkan mewujudkan resiliensi berkelanjutan yang tidak hanya melindungi keselamatan jiwa, tetapi juga menjadi katalisator pemulihan ekonomi pascabencana.

Based on the empirical facts of the post-eruption relocation of Mount Semeru in Lumajang Regency 2021, 751 housing units were left vacant because residents returned to their activities in the red zone. This issue was triggered by the Type 36 housing design, which was less than perfect in accommodating the diverse livelihoods and production facilities of the residents.
In response to this, this design aims to develop a prototype area called the "Resilient Livelihood Settlement." The design approach synthesizes three main foundations: (1) the Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) for mapping socio-economic spatial parameters; (2) Force-Based Design to respond to topography and natural pressures; and (3) Housing by People, which emphasizes housing adaptability. This synthesis synergizes the flexibility of production spaces with disaster-resilient standards. The macro-scale design results in an interlocking zoning of four professional clusters (agriculture, livestock, mining, entrepreneurship) bound by ecological infrastructure. On a micro-scale, a modular housing system and progressive housing (incremental housing) are implemented for the efficient separation of domestic and production zones, equipped with a steep roof structure to withstand volcanic ash loads. This architecture is expected to achieve sustainable resilience that not only protects human lives but also serves as a catalyst for post-disaster economic recovery.
