Abstract
Proses pemanasan LCD merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam pemisahan LCD dari top cover yang memerlukan durasi berbeda berdasarkan jenis unit. Unit dengan isolasi biru memerlukan waktu pemanasan selama 3 menit, sedangkan unit dengan isolasi merah memerlukan waktu 5 menit. Pada proses sebelumnya, identifikasi jenis unit, penentuan posisi slot, dan pengaturan timer masih dilakukan secara manual oleh operator. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan merancang sistem deteksi unit LCD menggunakan YOLOv8n untuk mengidentifikasi jenis unit, menentukan posisi unit pada lima slot pemanas, menjalankan timer otomatis, dan mengendalikan mekanisme pengunci. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri atas 400 citra dengan tiga kelas, yaitu slot kosong , unit isolasi biru dan unit isolasi merah, yang dibagi menjadi 320 citra training, 40 citra validation, dan 40 citra testing. Model menghasilkan informasi kelas, nilai confidence, dan koordinat bounding box. Titik tengah bounding box digunakan untuk menentukan posisi unit pada Slot 1 sampai Slot 5. Hasil evaluasi pada data testing menunjukkan nilai precision sebesar 99,06%, recall sebesar 100%, F1-score sebesar 99,53%, mAP50 sebesar 99,25%, dan mAP50–95 sebesar 98,06%. Pengujian langsung menghasilkan 100 kondisi slot dan 75 pengamatan posisi yang seluruhnya sesuai dengan kondisi aktual. Pengujian timer sebanyak 30 kali menghasilkan rata-rata kesalahan sebesar 0,354 detik dan tingkat ketepatan sebesar 99,846%, dengan seluruh hasil berada dalam toleransi satu detik. Sistem juga berhasil mengendalikan silinder pneumatik, lampu indikator, dan buzzer melalui komunikasi serial serta menampilkan status proses melalui dashboard secara real-time. Dengan demikian, sistem mampu mengintegrasikan deteksi jenis unit, penentuan posisi, timer otomatis, dan penguncian unit untuk mendukung proses pemanasan LCD yang lebih terkontrol dan konsisten.

The LCD heating process is one of the stages in separating the LCD from the top cover, with different heating durations required depending on the unit type. Units with blue insulation require a heating time of 3 minutes, while units with red insulation require 5 minutes. In the previous process, unit type identification, slot position determination, and timer setting were performed manually by the operator. This final project aims to develop an LCD unit detection system using YOLOv8n to identify the unit type, determine the unit position in five heating slots, run an automatic timer, and control the locking mechanism. The dataset consisted of 400 images divided into three classes: empty slot, blue-insulated unit, and red-insulated unit. The dataset was divided into 320 training images, 40 validation images, and 40 testing images. The model produced class information, confidence scores, and bounding box coordinates. The center point of each bounding box was used to determine the unit position from Slot 1 to Slot 5. The evaluation results on the testing data showed a precision of 99.06%, recall of 100%, F1-score of 99.53%, mAP50 of 99.25%, and mAP50–95 of 98.06%. Direct testing produced 100 slot conditions and 75 position observations, all of which matched the actual conditions. Thirty timer tests resulted in an average error of 0.354 seconds and an accuracy rate of 99.846%, with all results remaining within the one-second tolerance. The system also successfully controlled the pneumatic cylinders, indicator lights, and buzzer through serial communication and displayed the process status on a real-time dashboard. Therefore, the system was able to integrate unit type detection, position determination, automatic timer control, and unit locking to support a more controlled and consistent LCD heating process.
