Abstract

Surabaya sebagai salah satu kota dengan jumlah SMA swasta yang mendominasi menghadapi persaingan antar sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kondisi tersebut mendorong pentingnya penyediaan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung implementasi pembelajaran mendalam sesuai Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah nomor 13 tahun 2025. SMA Khadijah Surabaya sebagai sekolah swasta dengan kurikulum terpadu memerlukan redesain interior agar sejalan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran mendalam. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pendekatan eduscape pada interior SMA Khadijah melalui pengolahan tata ruang berbasis affordance dan kegiatan pedagogis guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar interaktif dan fleksibel yang memperkuat identitas sekolah. Dengan demikian, pendekatan EduScape menjadi solusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pembelajaran mendalam sekaligus memperkuat identitas SMA Khadijah Surabaya.

Surabaya, as a city where private high schools dominate, faces competition among schools to improve the quality of education. This situation underscores the importance of providing a learning environment that supports the implementation of deep learning in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education No. 13 of 2025. Khadijah High School in Surabaya, as a private school with an integrated curriculum, requires an interior redesign to align with the needs of deep learning. This design aims to apply the EduScape approach to the interior of Khadijah High School through affordance-based spatial planning and pedagogical activities to create an interactive and flexible learning environment that strengthens the school’s identity. Therefore, the EduScape approach can serve as a solution for creating a learning environment that supports deep learning while reinforcing the identity of Khadijah Surabaya High School
