Abstract

Kenaikan muka air laut dan penurunan muka tanah meningkatkan kerentanan kawasan pesisir Jakarta serta menuntut alternatif hunian yang tidak sepenuhnya bergantung pada elevasi daratan. Tugas akhir ini merancang prototipe hunian terapung adaptabel di Muara Angke, Jakarta, pada skala pelantar terapung, unit hunian, dan klaster permukiman. Arsitektur Adaptabel digunakan sebagai teori utama untuk membentuk modularitas, pelapisan komponen, dan pertumbuhan bertahap, sedangkan Akuatektur digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan hunian dengan lingkungan perairan, dan Urbanisme Baru mendukung keterhubungan antarruang serta kehidupan komunal. Proses perancangan dilakukan melalui Kerangka Perancangan Berbasis Konsep dengan metode pemetaan antarranah (domain-to-domain). Teratai air dipilih sebagai ranah sumber karena memiliki hubungan antara pengapungan, keterikatan, pengelompokan elemen individual, dan keberadaan ruang air di antaranya. Hubungan tersebut diterjemahkan menjadi konsep Arsitektur sebagai Teratai Air dan diterapkan pada kawasan perairan seluas 25.578 m2 yang terdiri atas 40 unit hunian berbentuk segi enam. Unit-unit disusun dalam beberapa klaster dan dihubungkan melalui sirkulasi terapung, pelantar komunal, area transisi darat-air, titik tambat, serta jembatan dengan sambungan tetap dan sambungan geser. Ruang air di antara klaster dipertahankan untuk pergerakan perahu, kegiatan perikanan, dan pemisahan antarpelantar. Rancangan ini menunjukkan bahwa hidup bersama air dapat diwujudkan melalui organisasi hunian, mobilitas berbasis air, infrastruktur terdistribusi, serta hubungan antara ruang individual dan sistem kolektif.

Sea-level rise and land subsidence increase the vulnerability of Jakarta’s coastal areas and create a need for housing that does not depend entirely on land. This final project proposes an adaptable floating housing prototype in Muara Angke, Jakarta, developed across the scales of floating platforms, dwelling units, and residential clusters. Adaptable Architecture is used as the main theory to develop modularity, component layering, and phased growth, while Aquatecture explains the relationship between habitation and the aquatic environment, and New Urbanism supports spatial connectivity and communal life. The design process applies a Concept-Based Framework through domain-to-domain mapping. The water lily is selected as the source domain because it demonstrates relationships among flotation, anchoring, the aggregation of individual elements, and the presence of water spaces between them. These relationships are translated into the concept of Architecture as Water Lilies and applied to an approximately 25,578 m2 water area containing 40 hexagonal dwelling units. The units are arranged into several clusters connected by floating circulation, communal platforms, and land-water transition areas, docking points, and bridges with fixed and sliding joints. Water spaces between the clusters are retained for boat movement, fishing activities, and separation between platforms. The proposal demonstrates that living with water can be realised through residential organization, water-based mobility, distributed infrastructure, and the relationship between individual spaces and collective system, although the structural, hydrodynamic, mooring, and utility systems still require further technical verification.
