Abstract

Sungai Rejoso di Kabupaten Pasuruan mengalami permasalahan sedimentasi yang menyebabkan perubahan morfologi dasar sungai, sehingga berpotensi menurunkan kapasitas aliran dan meningkatkan risiko banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik hidraulika dan perubahan morfologi Sungai Rejoso akibat angkutan sedimen menggunakan perangkat lunak HEC-RAS. Analisis dilakukan pada ruas sungai sepanjang ±4,5 km dengan dua skenario debit, yaitu debit banjir kala ulang 2 tahun (Q2) dan debit dominan. Data yang digunakan meliputi curah hujan, debit sungai, topografi, dan karakteristik sedimen. Simulasi dilakukan menggunakan fitur unsteady flow dan sediment transport pada HEC-RAS untuk memperoleh karakteristik aliran dan perubahan elevasi dasar sungai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skenario debit Q2 menghasilkan elevasi muka air, kecepatan, dan kedalaman aliran yang lebih besar dibandingkan debit dominan. Simulasi sedimentasi menunjukkan agradasi maksimum sebesar 3,34 m pada STA 1+300 dan degradasi maksimum sebesar 2,29 m pada STA 1+700. Perubahan morfologi tersebut memengaruhi kapasitas aliran sehingga menyebabkan luapan banjir pada beberapa lokasi. Sebagai upaya mitigasi, direkomendasikan peninggian tanggul pada lokasi yang mengalami luapan menggunakan KP – 03 sebagai acuan.

The Rejoso River is one of the rivers in Pasuruan Regency that experiences sedimentation problems due to the deposition of material carried by the river flow. The sedimentation process causes changes in the morphology of the riverbed, potentially reducing the river's capacity and increasing the risk of flooding. This study aims to analyze the hydraulic behavior and morphological changes of the Rejoso River due to sediment transport using the HEC-RAS program. The analysis was conducted on a ±4.5 km river section with two discharge scenarios, namely a 2-year return period flood discharge (Q2) and a dominant discharge. The data used included rainfall data, river discharge, topographic data, and the results of sediment characteristic tests. Simulations were conducted using the unsteady flow and sediment transport features in HEC-RAS to obtain flow characteristics and changes in riverbed elevation. The results showed that the 2-year return period discharge conditions resulted in greater water level elevation, velocity, and flow depth than the dominant discharge. The results of the sedimentation simulation showed morphological changes in the form of a maximum aggradation of 1,49 meter at STA 1+100 and a maximum degradation of 1,15 meter at STA 1+750. These changes in riverbed elevation affect flow capacity, leading to flooding in some locations. As a mitigation measure, it is recommended to raise the embankments at locations experiencing overflow, taking into account the embankment height in accordance with KP – 03.
