Abstract

Program Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek (PPAr) mengharuskan peserta memenuhi kompetensi arsitek sesuai Standar Kompetensi Arsitek Indonesia (SKAI) yang mengacu pada UIA Accord on Recommended International Standards of Professionalism in Architectural Practice serta Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 6 Tahun 2017 tentang Arsitek. Laporan ini disusun sebagai dokumentasi penerapan kompetensi tersebut melalui dua proyek perancangan yang dikerjakan selama pelaksanaan PPAr, yaitu Masjid Sekolah Rakyat Surabaya (PPA 1) dan Sport Center Ngagel Surabaya (PPA 2). Perancangan PPA 1 berfokus pada penyediaan fasilitas ibadah sebagai bagian dari kawasan pendidikan berasrama Sekolah Rakyat Surabaya. Bangunan masjid dirancang tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai ruang komunal yang mendukung pembinaan karakter, interaksi sosial, dan aktivitas peserta didik. Konsep Riak Air diterapkan sebagai dasar pembentukan kawasan dan diterjemahkan ke dalam organisasi ruang, orientasi bangunan, serta hubungan antarbangunan. Sementara itu, PPA 2 mengangkat perancangan Sport Center Ngagel Surabaya yang berorientasi pada penyediaan fasilitas olahraga dengan fungsi pendukung berupa area food and beverage (F&B), sehingga mampu mewadahi aktivitas rekreasi, interaksi sosial, dan kebutuhan masyarakat dalam satu kawasan yang aktif dan inklusif. Penyusunan laporan dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, analisis kondisi tapak, kebutuhan pengguna, regulasi, serta studi preseden yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi konsep, program ruang, hingga dokumen teknis perancangan. Seluruh proses mengacu pada kaidah profesi, standar teknis, dan peraturan yang berlaku sehingga setiap keputusan desain memiliki dasar yang jelas dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Laporan ini diharapkan dapat menunjukkan pemenuhan kompetensi arsitek secara menyeluruh, mulai dari tahap analisis, pengembangan konsep, hingga penyusunan rancangan teknis, serta menghasilkan solusi perancangan yang fungsional, kontekstual, responsif terhadap lingkungan, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna maupun masyarakat.

The Professional Architect Education Program (PPAr) requires participants to demonstrate the competencies of professional architects in accordance with the Indonesian Architect Competency Standards (SKAI), which refer to the UIA Accord on Recommended International Standards of Professionalism in Architectural Practice and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2017 concerning Architects. This report documents the fulfillment of these competencies through two architectural design projects during the PPAr program, namely the Sekolah Rakyat Surabaya Mosque (PPA 1) and the Ngagel Sports Center, Surabaya (PPA 2). The first project focuses on the design of a mosque as a worship facility within the Sekolah Rakyat educational complex. Beyond serving as a place of worship, the mosque is envisioned as a communal space that supports character development, social interaction, and the daily activities of students. The design adopts the Water Ripple concept, which guides the building massing, spatial organization, orientation, and the relationship between the mosque and the surrounding buildings within the masterplan. Meanwhile, the second project involves the design of the Ngagel Sports Center, which aims to provide sports facilities integrated with supporting food and beverage functions, creating an active public space that accommodates recreational, social, and community activities while enhancing the quality of the surrounding urban environment. The report was prepared through the collection of primary and secondary data, followed by analyses of the site, user requirements, applicable regulations, and precedent studies. These analyses formed the basis for developing the design concept, spatial program, and technical design documentation. Throughout the process, the design adhered to professional architectural standards, technical regulations, and applicable codes to ensure that every design decision was well-founded and accountable. This report demonstrates the comprehensive application of architectural competencies, covering the stages of analysis, concept development, and technical design, while presenting design solutions that are functional, context-sensitive, environmentally responsive, and aligned with the needs of both users and the surrounding community.
