Abstract

Laporan Akhir Proyek ini mendokumentasikan proses perancangan Rumah Kos Bu Lia di Surabaya dan R House di Gresik, sebagai bentuk penerapan Standar Kompetensi Arsitek Indonesia. Kedua proyek memberikan pengalaman dalam tahapan perancangan, mulai dari pengumpulan data, analisis, dan perumusan sintesis data, yang kemudian ditransformasikan dalam bentuk penyusunan program ruang, pengembangan konsep desain. Perancangan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan aspek fungsi, estetika, keselamatan, regulasi bangunan, efisiensi biaya, serta kondisi lingkungan. Rumah Kos menerapkan konsep tropis industrial yang menekankan pada efisiensi ruang dan fungsi hunian. Sedangkan R House mengusung konsep modern klasik dengan penekanan pada kenyamanan ruang, proporsi, dan integrasi sistem bangunan. Seluruh proses perancangan mengacu pada standar teknis dan peraturan yang berlaku serta mempertimbangkan prinsip desain pasif untuk mendukung kenyamanan dan keberlanjutan bangunan. Melalui kedua proyek tersebut, diperoleh pemahaman mengenai pentingnya proses perancangan yang sistematis, koordinasi lintas disiplin, serta penerapan kompetensi profesional arsitek dalam menghasilkan rancangan yang fungsional, aman, nyaman, dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.

This Final Project Report documents the design process of the Bu Lia Boarding House in Surabaya and the R House in Gresik, as a demonstration of the implementation of the Indonesian Architect Competency Standards. Both projects provided experience in the design phase, from data collection, analysis, and synthesis, which were then transformed into spatial programming and design concept development. The designs were carried out taking into account aspects of function, aesthetics, safety, building regulations, cost efficiency, and environmental conditions. The Boarding House adopted a tropical industrial concept that emphasized space efficiency and residential function. The R House adopted a modern classic concept with an emphasis on spatial comfort, proportion, and the integration of building systems. The entire design process adhered to applicable technical standards and regulations and considered passive design principles to support building comfort and sustainability. Through these two projects, we gained an understanding of the importance of a systematic design process, interdisciplinary coordination, and the application of professional architectural competence in producing designs that are functional, safe, comfortable, and meet user needs.
