Abstract

Sistem refrigerasi saat ini banyak dimanfaatkan dalam
refrigerasi industri dan pengkondisian udara. Salah satu
pemanfaatannya adalah sebagai penyimpanan berbagai macam
kebutuh farmasi termasuk vaksin. Penyimpanan vaksin sangat
dijaga suhu optimalnya , karena vaksin terdiri dari berbagai
macam mikro organisme yang mudah beraktifitas. Sehingga
untuk mempertahankan kualitas vaksin tersebut dibutuhkan Cold
Storage.
Dari hasil data di lapangan Pusat Veterania Farma
Surabaya dapat dihitung dan memperoleh hasil perhitungan ya
adalah waktu pendinginan dari temperatur masuk vaksin (6oC)
menuju temperatur yang diinginkan (3oC) diperoleh selama 2,35
jam, dengan beban pendinginan sebesar 18338,8 BTU/hr dan
laju aliran massa refrigeran 429,8021 lb/hr , dengan COP sistem
sebesar 1,36

Refrigeration system is now widely used in industrial
refrigeration and air conditioning. One utilization was as storage
kinds of needs variety of pharmaceuticals including vaccines.
Storage of the vaccine is kept optimum temperature, because the
vaccine is composed of wide variety of micro-organisms that easy
activity. So it to maintain the quality of the vaccine are needed Cold
Storage.
From the results of field data Pusat Veterania Surabaya
can be calculated and obtained calculation result so is the cooling
time of the temperature of incoming vaccine (6oC) to the desired
temperature (3 ° C) was obtained for 2,35 hours, with a cooling
load of 18338,8 BTU / hr and the mass flow rate of refrigerant
429,8021 lb / hr, the system COP of 1.36
