Abstract
Keandalan pipa penyalur merupakan aspek penting dalam menjamin keselamatan, keberlanjutan operasi, dan pengelolaan aset pada industri minyak dan gas. Pipa penyalur kondensat 10” milik Perusahaan X di Wilayah Jambi telah beroperasi sejak tahun 2001 dan telah melewati umur desain 20 tahun, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi integritas untuk memastikan kondisi aktual, level risiko, kelayakan operasi, sisa umur layan, serta rekomendasi pengelolaan integritas aset. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset Integrity Management dengan mengintegrasikan Failure Mechanism Identification, Risk Assessment, Fitness for Service, dan Residual Life Assessment berdasarkan data inspeksi visual, pengukuran ketebalan Ultrasonic Testing, data operasi, serta dokumen teknis pipa. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa kondisi struktur internal dan eksternal pipa masih berada dalam batas aman, dengan potensi degradasi utama berupa korosi eksternal dan tidak ditemukan cacat ekstrem pada hasil inspeksi visual. Hasil Risk Assessment terhadap 41 segmen menunjukkan 40 segmen berada pada Level Risiko I dan 1 segmen, yaitu Segmen 8, berada pada Level Risiko II. Evaluasi Fitness for Service menunjukkan seluruh segmen yang dianalisis masih memenuhi kriteria kelayakan operasi karena ketebalan aktual masih lebih besar dari ketebalan minimum yang dipersyaratkan dan nilai MAOP masih lebih tinggi dari tekanan operasi aktual. Hasil Residual Life Assessment menunjukkan estimasi sisa umur layan pipa lebih dari 20 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pipa penyalur masih layak dioperasikan dengan rekomendasi perpanjangan umur operasi secara konservatif selama 10 tahun melalui penerapan inspeksi berkala, monitoring korosi, pemeliharaan sistem proteksi, dan pengawasan berbasis risiko.

Pipeline reliability is an important aspect in ensuring safety, operational continuity, and asset management in the oil and gas industry. The 10-inch condensate transmission pipeline owned by Company X in the Jambi Region has been operating since 2001 and has exceeded its 20-year design life; therefore, an integrity evaluation is required to determine its actual condition, risk level, operational fitness, remaining service life, and asset integrity management recommendations. This study applies an Asset Integrity Management approach by integrating Failure Mechanism Identification, Risk Assessment, Fitness for Service, and Residual Life Assessment using visual inspection data, Ultrasonic Testing thickness measurements, operating data, and pipeline technical documents. The failure mechanism identification results indicate that the internal and external structural conditions of the pipeline remain within safe operating limits, with external corrosion identified as the main potential degradation mechanism and no extreme defects found during visual inspection. The Risk Assessment of 41 segments shows that 40 segments are classified as Risk Level I and 1 segment, namely Segment 8, is classified as Risk Level II. The Fitness for Service evaluation confirms that all assessed segments meet operational acceptance criteria because the actual wall thickness remains above the minimum required thickness and the calculated MAOP remains higher than the actual operating pressure. The Residual Life Assessment results indicate that the estimated remaining service life of the pipeline exceeds 20 years. Based on these results, the pipeline is considered fit for continued operation with a conservative 10-year life extension recommendation through periodic inspection, corrosion monitoring, protection system maintenance, and risk-based monitoring.
