Abstract

Laporan ini disusun untuk memenuhi kelengkapan tugas mata kuliah Proyek Perancangan Arsitektur 1 dan Proyek Perancangan Arsitektur 2 pada Program Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek (PPAr) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Penyusunan laporan berbasis pada pemenuhan 13 Butir Standar Kompetensi Arsitek yang mencakup analisis kontekstual, pemenuhan persyaratan teknis, regulasi, hingga penerapan teori arsitektur pada dua tipologi proyek yang berbeda. Proyek pertama adalah Perancangan Gedung Asrama Putri SMP Fasilitas Sekolah Rakyat Jombang. Proyek ini mengusung pendekatan Critical Regionalism dan arsitektur bioklimatik adaptif yang merespons identitas lokal Jombang sebagai "Kota Santri". Melalui pengolahan gubahan massa bertipe inner courtyard, penerapan kisi-kisi secondary skin motif mashrabiya, serta pemanfaatan material terakota lokal, rancangan ini mengoptimalkan kenyamanan termal pasif (cross ventilation dan stack effect) sekaligus menciptakan ruang huni komunal yang aman, inklusif, dan ramah anak. Proyek kedua adalah Perancangan Gedung Retail Dumilah Water Park Kota Madiun. Proyek komersial linier ini menerapkan pendekatan Klasik Modern-Kontemporer. Rancangan memadukan efisiensi grid modular, koridor semi-terbuka (one-loaded corridor), serta selubung bangunan Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) Perforated dan Wood Plastic Composite (WPC). Pendekatan ini mampu mereduksi radiasi panas tropis, mengintegrasikan fasilitas penunjang kawasan rekreasi air, serta memberikan kontribusi estetika urban yang dinamis namun tetap low-maintenance. Secara keseluruhan, kedua perancangan ini membuktikan kemampuan penyelarasan antara aspek estetika, fungsi, keandalan struktur dan utilitas (MEP), efisiensi biaya, hingga kepatuhan pada regulasi tata ruang (RDTR) dan standar etika keprofesian arsitek IAI. =========================================================================================================================================
This report was prepared to fulfill the requirements of Architectural Design Project 1 and Architectural Design Project 2 courses in the Professional Architect Education Program (PPAr), Department of Architecture, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). The report is structured around the 13 Architectural Competency Standards, covering contextual analysis, technical requirements, regulatory compliance, and the application of architectural theories across two distinct building typologies. The first project is the Architectural Design of the Junior High School Girls' Boarding Facility at Sekolah Rakyat Jombang. This project adopts a Critical Regionalism approach and adaptive bioclimatic design responding to Jombang’s local identity as "Kota Santri". By utilizing an inner-courtyard massing layout, a mashrabiya-patterned secondary skin, and local terracotta materials, the design optimizes passive thermal comfort (cross ventilation and stack effect) while creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly communal residential space. The second project is the Retail Building Design for Dumilah Water Park, Madiun City. This linear commercial development applies a Modern-Contemporary Classic approach. The design integrates modular grid efficiency, a semi-open one-loaded corridor, and a building envelope using Perforated Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) and Wood Plastic Composite (WPC). This strategy successfully reduces tropical solar heat gain, integrates water park recreational facilities, and enhances the urban streetscape while remaining low-maintenance. Overall, both projects demonstrate a synthesis of aesthetic values, functional programming, structural and MEP systems integration, cost efficiency, and full compliance with local spatial regulations (RDTR) and the IAI professional code of ethics.
