Abstract
Tantangan dalam perancangan fasilitas edukasi berbasis asrama dan hunian kolektif perkotaan menuntut integrasi antara efisiensi fungsi, kenyamanan spasial, dan keselarasan lingkungan. Laporan Akhir Program Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek (PPAr) ini mencakup dua tipologi proyek: Gedung Kantin & Kitchen Lab Sekolah Rakyat Jombang sebagai fasilitas penunjang komunitas, dan Loka House: Multi-Family Housing sebagai hunian kolektif skala menengah. Proses perancangan berbasis data KAK, analisis tapak, serta simulasi kebutuhan pengguna menghasilkan respons arsitektural yang presisi pada masing-masing objek. edung Kantin dan Kitchen Lab Jombang dirancang dengan memprioritaskan pemisahan zonasi publik-servis, efisiensi tata letak dapur standar industri, serta penggunaan material lokal yang tahan lama dan mudah dirawat. Di sisi lain, Loka House menghadirkan tipologi hunian multi-keluarga yang mengedepankan efisiensi lahan, kenyamanan termal pasif, serta transisi ruang publik ke privat yang halus guna mempererat rasa komunitas tanpa mengorbankan privasi. Secara keseluruhan, kedua objek bangunan ini menegaskan keterkaitan antara efisiensi fungsi, kondisi iklim, dan karakter tapak.

The challenges in designing dormitory-based educational facilities and urban collective housing demand the integration of functional efficiency, spatial comfort, and environmental harmony. This Final Report of the Architect Professional Program (PPAr) covers two project typologies: the Jombang Public School Canteen & Kitchen Lab Building as a community support facility, and Loka House: Multi-Family Housing as a medium-scale collective housing development.
The design process, grounded in TOR (Terms of Reference) data, site analysis, and user needs simulation, yields precise architectural responses for each object. The Jombang Canteen & Kitchen Lab Building is designed with a priority on separating public and service zones, an efficient industry-standard kitchen layout, and the use of durable, low-maintenance local materials. On the other hand, Loka House presents a multi-family housing typology that emphasizes land efficiency, passive thermal comfort, and a smooth transition from public to private spaces to foster a sense of community without sacrificing privacy. Overall, these two building projects emphasize the interconnectedness of functional efficiency, microclimatic conditions, and site characteristics.
