Abstract

Penanganan pasien gawat darurat merupakan salah satu layanan kesehatan yang menentukan keselamatan pasien, dan sangat bergantung pada kecepatan proses penjemputan pasien oleh ambulans menuju fasilitas kesehatan. Response time yang optimal menjadi krusial dalam situasi darurat, mengingat kondisi pasien dapat memburuk hanya dalam hitungan menit. Oleh karena itu, tugas akhir ini membahas rancang bangun aplikasi berbasis Android untuk manajemen ambulans dan pasien gawat darurat, dengan tiga peran pengguna, yaitu passenger, driver, dan admin. Aplikasi memungkinkan passenger memanggil ambulans serta memantau lokasi, rute, jarak, dan estimasi waktu tiba secara real-time menggunakan Google Maps SDK dan Directions API, driver menerima dan memproses pesanan penjemputan hingga mengantar pasien ke rumah sakit tujuan, serta admin mengelola data pengguna, rumah sakit, dan informasi pertolongan pertama. Kedua peran pengguna, passenger dan driver, juga dapat berkomunikasi melalui fitur chat selama proses penjemputan berlangsung. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Kotlin dengan Firebase sebagai layanan backend untuk autentikasi, penyimpanan data, dan pembaruan status pesanan secara real-time. Pengujian dilakukan pada dua perangkat dengan spesifikasi berbeda, yaitu Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra dan Samsung Galaxy A02, serta pada kondisi jaringan yang bervariasi, untuk memastikan aplikasi dapat berjalan pada rentang spesifikasi perangkat yang luas. Hasil pengujian fungsional menggunakan metode black-box testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh skenario pengujian berjalan sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan. Dengan dibangunnya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan referensi kepada penyedia layanan ambulans untuk mengimplementasikan manajemen ambulans dan pasien gawat darurat berbasis Android.

Emergency patient care is one of the healthcare services that most determines patient survival, and it depends heavily on how quickly an ambulance can pick up the patient and transport them to a health facility. Optimal response time becomes crucial in emergency situations, since a patient's condition can deteriorate within minutes. Therefore, this final project discusses the design and development of an Android-based application for ambulance and emergency patient management, with three user roles: passenger, driver, and admin. The application allows passengers to call an ambulance and monitor its location, route, distance, and estimated arrival time in real time using the Google Maps SDK and Directions API, allows drivers to receive and process pickup orders through to delivering the patient to the destination hospital, and allows admins to manage user, hospital, and first-aid information data. Both passengers and drivers can also communicate through an in-app chat feature during the pickup process. The system was built using the Kotlin programming language with Firebase as the backend service for authentication, data storage, and real-time order status updates. Testing was carried out on two devices with different specifications, namely a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and a Samsung Galaxy A02, as well as under varying network conditions, to ensure the application runs well across a wide range of device specifications. The results of functional testing using the black-box testing method show that all test scenarios ran as expected. With the development of this system, it is expected to provide a reference for ambulance service providers to implement Android-based ambulance and emergency patient management.
