Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji distribusi functional guild serangga berdasarkan jarak dari tepi hutan di Kawasan Agroekosistem Desa Jatiarjo, Prigen, Jawa Timur. Tepi hutan diketahui memengaruhi struktur komunitas serangga, tetapi pola sebaran spesies menurut functional guild di Kawasan Agroekosistem belum banyak diketahui. Batas hutan ditentukan dengan mengolah indeks vegetasi NDVI dari citra Sentinel-2, dan serangga diambil menggunakan metode Pollard Walk (Rhopalocera), Visual Encounter Survey (Odonata), dan Yellow Pan Trap (Hymenoptera) pada tiga zona: sawah, tepi hutan, dan interior hutan. Penelitian menemukan 23 spesies dari 78 individu, terdiri dari lima spesies Odonata sebagai Aerial Insectivorous Predator dan 18 spesies kupu-kupu sebagai Nectarivorous Pollinator. Kedua guild tersebar dengan pola berlawanan. Sawah didominasi Aerial Insectivorous Predator, terutama Orthetrum sabina (RA 36,36%), sedangkan interior hutan didominasi penyerbuk, terutama Eurema andersonii (RA 20,59%). Tepi hutan menjadi zona transisi dengan kekayaan spesies tinggi, tetapi kemerataannya terendah (E = 0,864) karena beberapa spesies mendominasi tajam. Indeks Shannon-Wiener naik dari sawah (H' = 1,47), tepi hutan (2,28), hingga interior hutan (2,48). NDVI terbukti akurat menggambarkan batas antara hutan dan lahan pertanian. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa jarak dari tepi hutan menentukan struktur komunitas serangga dan dapat menjadi dasar konservasi serta pengelolaan Kawasan Agroekosistem.

This study examined the distribution of insect functional guilds along a distance gradient from the forest edge in the agroecosystem of Jatiarjo Village, Prigen, East Java. Forest edges are known to affect insect community structure, but species distribution patterns by functional guild in agroecosystems remain poorly documented. The forest boundary was mapped by processing the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) from Sentinel-2 imagery, and insects were sampled using the Pollard Walk (Rhopalocera), Visual Encounter Survey (Odonata), and Yellow Pan Trap (Hymenoptera) methods in three zones: rice field, forest edge, and forest interior. Sampling recorded 23 species from 78 individuals: five Odonata species as Aerial Insectivorous Predators and 18 butterfly species as Nectarivorous Pollinators. The two guilds showed opposite distribution patterns. The rice field was dominated by aerial insectivorous predators, mainly Orthetrum sabina (RA 36.36%), while the forest interior was dominated by pollinators, mainly Eurema andersonii (RA 20.59%). The forest edge acted as a transition zone with high species richness but the lowest evenness (E = 0.864), as a few species dominated strongly. The Shannon-Wiener index rose from the rice field (H' = 1.47) through the forest edge (2.28) to the forest interior (2.48). NDVI accurately delineated the sharp boundary between forest and farmland. These results show that distance from the forest edge determines insect community structure and can inform conservation and agroecosystem management.
