Abstract
In recent years, sustainability has become an increasingly important concern for organizations due to growing environmental degradation, resource depletion, and social inequality, encouraging companies to integrate sustainability into their core business strategies through sustainable innovation. Sustainable innovation focuses on creating economic value while simultaneously improving environmental and social outcomes, in line with the Triple Bottom Line framework, which emphasizes profit, planet, and people. This study aims to examine the effect of sustainable innovation on Triple Bottom Line performance, consisting of environmental, social, and economic performance, within the manufacturing industry of PT XYZ. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from 205 respondents within the company, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS version 4. Sustainable innovation was treated as the independent variable, while environmental performance, social performance, and economic performance were examined as dependent variables. The results show that sustainable innovation has a positive and significant effect on both environmental and social performance. In addition, environmental performance and social performance have positive and significant effects on economic performance. These findings indicate that sustainable innovation plays an important role in improving environmental and social outcomes, which in turn contribute to stronger economic performance. Overall, the study supports the applicability of the Triple Bottom Line framework and demonstrates that integrating sustainable innovation into business strategies can enhance long-term sustainability and competitiveness in the manufacturing sector.

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, keberlanjutan telah menjadi perhatian yang semakin penting bagi organisasi akibat meningkatnya kerusakan lingkungan, penipisan sumber daya, dan ketimpangan sosial; hal ini mendorong perusahaan untuk mengintegrasikan keberlanjutan ke dalam strategi bisnis inti mereka melalui inovasi berkelanjutan. Inovasi berkelanjutan berfokus pada penciptaan nilai ekonomi sembari secara bersamaan meningkatkan hasil lingkungan dan sosial, sejalan dengan kerangka kerja Triple Bottom Line yang menekankan pada aspek laba (profit), lingkungan (planet), dan masyarakat (people). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh inovasi berkelanjutan terhadap kinerja Triple Bottom Line yang mencakup kinerja lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi di perusahaan manufaktur PT XYZ. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan memanfaatkan data survei dari 205 responden di dalam perusahaan, dan data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 4. Inovasi berkelanjutan ditempatkan sebagai variabel independen, sedangkan kinerja lingkungan, kinerja sosial, dan kinerja ekonomi dikaji sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi berkelanjutan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja lingkungan maupun sosial. Selain itu, kinerja lingkungan dan kinerja sosial terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja ekonomi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa inovasi berkelanjutan memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan hasil lingkungan dan sosial, yang pada gilirannya berkontribusi pada kinerja ekonomi yang lebih kuat. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini mendukung penerapan kerangka kerja Triple Bottom Line dan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi inovasi berkelanjutan ke dalam strategi bisnis dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan jangka panjang serta daya saing di sektor manufaktur.
