Abstract
Area parkir motor dan mobil di Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi ITS memiliki karakteristik pencahayaan yang berbeda, namun masih menggunakan sistem pencahayaan konvensional yang bergantung pada pengoperasian manual. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan pengoperasian lampu kurang adaptif terhadap perubahan intensitas cahaya lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem otomatisasi pencahayaan berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 dan sensor BH1750 pada area parkir semi-indoor dan outdoor. Sistem dirancang menggunakan dua zona kendali yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik pencahayaan masing-masing area, dengan metode kendali ON–OFF berdasarkan nilai ambang intensitas cahaya. Pengujian dilakukan pada kondisi pagi, sore, dan cuaca mendung dengan parameter intensitas cahaya, akurasi sensor, dan waktu respons sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor BH1750 memiliki rata-rata galat sebesar 3,72% pada Zona 1 dan 3,39% pada Zona 2, sedangkan sistem memiliki waktu respons rata-rata 0,90 detik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengendalikan pencahayaan secara otomatis, responsif, dan sesuai dengan perubahan intensitas cahaya lingkungan.

The motorcycle and car parking areas at the Department of Instrumentation Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), have different lighting characteristics but still rely on a conventional lighting system operated manually. This condition makes the lighting operation less adaptive to changes in ambient light intensity. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement an automatic lighting system based on an ESP32 microcontroller and a BH1750 light intensity sensor for semi-indoor and outdoor parking areas. The system was designed using two control zones adapted to the lighting characteristics of each area, employing an ON–OFF control method based on predefined light intensity thresholds. System performance was evaluated under various environmental conditions, including morning, afternoon, and overcast weather, using light intensity, sensor accuracy, and system response time as the evaluation parameters. The experimental results showed that the BH1750 sensor achieved an average error of 3.72% in Zone 1 and 3.39% in Zone 2, while the system exhibited an average response time of 0.90 seconds. These results indicate that the proposed system is capable of automatically controlling the lighting in a responsive manner according to changes in ambient light intensity.
