Abstract
Proses multi-fluid transfer banyak diterapkan pada industri minyak dan gas, kimia, serta pengolahan air karena mampu mendistribusikan beberapa jenis fluida melalui satu jalur pipa secara bergantian. Untuk mendukung proses tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan simulator multi-fluid transfer berbasis PLC dengan penambahan level sensor dan ratio control sebagai media pembelajaran dan pengujian sistem. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, validasi sensor, serta pengujian kinerja sistem terhadap variasi rasio dan total fluida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ratio control dan level sensor berhasil diterapkan sehingga sistem mampu mempertahankan rasio perpindahan fluida sesuai setpoint. Hasil validasi level sensor menunjukkan hubungan linier terhadap level aktual dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,99778. Rata-rata kesalahan pengukuran level sebesar 1,08% untuk air dan 2,51%, untuk minyak. Pengujian karakteristik dinamik menunjukkan bahwa rise time meningkat seiring bertambahnya setpoint, sedangkan seluruh pengujian menghasilkan nilai overshoot sebesar 0%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, simulator yang dikembangkan mampu bekerja sesuai rancangan sebagai media pembelajaran dan pengujian sistem multi-fluid transfer berbasis batching pipeline.

The multi-fluid transfer process is widely applied in the oil and gas, chemical, and water treatment industries because it is able to distribute several types of fluids through a single pipeline alternately. To support this process, this study aims to develop a PLC-based multifluid transfer simulator with the addition of level sensors and ratio control as a learning medium and system testing. The research was conducted through the stages of hardware and software design, sensor validation, and system performance testing against variations in the ratio and total fluid. The results showed that the ratio control and level sensor methods were successfully implemented so that the system was able to maintain the fluid transfer ratio according to the setpoint. The results of the level sensor validation showed a linear relationship to the actual level with an R² value of 0.99778. The average level measurement error was 1.08% for water and 2.51% for oil. Dynamic characteristic testing showed that the rise time increased as the setpoint increased, while all tests resulted in an overshoot value of 0%. Based on these results, the developed simulator was able to work as designed as a learning medium and testing a batching pipeline-based multi-fluid transfer system.
