Abstract
Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, transformasi digital di sektor layanan kesehatan telah berkembang pesat, terutama dalam pertukaran Rekam Medis Elektronik (EHR) melalui telemedis yang memunculkan risiko kebocoran privasi pasien. Oleh karena itu, steganografi pada gambar medis telah muncul sebagai solusi perlindungan data yang menjanjikan untuk menjaga kerahasiaan informasi. Berbeda dengan penerapan umum, penyembunyian data pada ranah medis membutuhkan teknik reversibel yang tidak hanya menyembunyikan rekam medis secara aman, tetapi juga wajib mampu mengembalikan gambar diagnostik asli tanpa distorsi yang dapat mengganggu interpretasi klinis. Untuk mengatasi keterbatasan kapasitas dan menjaga kualitas visual, penerapan metode steganografi adaptif yang mendistribusikan muatan data ke beberapa salinan gambar sekaligus dipadukan dengan kompresi data terbukti menjadi pendekatan yang sangat efektif untuk memfasilitasi transmisi data medis yang aman dan terukur.

In recent years, digital transformation in the healthcare sector has advanced rapidly, particularly in the exchange of Electronic Health Records (EHR) through telemedicine, which has raised the risk of patient privacy breaches. Consequently, steganography on medical images has emerged as a promising data-protection solution for preserving the confidentiality of information. Unlike general applications, data hiding in the medical domain requires reversible techniques that not only conceal medical records securely but must also be able to restore the original diagnostic image without distortion that could interfere with clinical interpretation. To overcome capacity limitations and maintain visual quality, applying an adaptive steganographic method that distributes the data payload across multiple image copies at once, combined with data compression, has proven to be a highly effective approach for facilitating secure and scalable medical data transmission.
