Abstract
Screen Printed Carbon Electrode (SPCE). Kinerja SPCE dikarakterisasi
Uji repeatability SPCE menunjukkan
peningkatan nilai arus puncak yang mengakibatkan kurang presisinya pengukuran
berulang.

Electrochemical sensors for detecting dopamine have been studied using a Screen
Printed Carbon Electrode (SPCE). SPCE performance was characterized using
Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) at pH 7 in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution.
Measurements were made in the potential range of -0.750 to 1.000 V. Effect of
dopamine concentration and scane rate. The results showed that dopamine can be
detected specifically by looking at the anodic and cathodic peak signals at a
potential of 0.186 V and -0.006 V, respectively. Dopamine signals can detect
without any signal interference from the interference compounds of ascorbic acid,
uric acid, glucose and urea. The calibration curve which is a plot between the
variation of dopamine concentration on anodic and cathodic peak currents follows
a linear equation, Ipa = 3.484+0.413x, with R2 = 0.992 and Ipc = -2.741-0.267x, with
R2 = 0.985. The limit of detection (LOD) and SPCE sensitivity for detecting
dopamine were 0.0319 µM, respectively; 0.1866 µA mm-2 µM-1 for the anodic peak
and 0.2512 µM; 0.1532 µA mm-2 µM-1 for the cathodic peak. The effect of scan
rate shows the interaction between SPCE and the test solution of dopamine which
is controlled by the diffusion process. The SPCE repeatability test showed an
increase in the peak current value which results in a lack of precision in repeated
measurements.
