Abstract

In the digital era marked by rapid technological advancements, the utilization of renewable energy has become increasingly crucial, particularly in the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones. One of the main challenges faced by drones is the limited flight endurance due to the restricted capacity and high cost of conventional batteries. To address this issue, this research focuses on the development of a real-time solar energy charging system for drones using solar panels. The study involves the analysis and technical design of the charging system, as well as the evaluation of its efficiency and performance under various operational conditions. Additionally, energy management and control techniques are explored to maximize the utilization of solar energy. Consequently, this research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly drones, supporting various applications that leverage UAV technology powered by renewable energy.
