Abstract

Dewasa ini, hampir semua perusahaan menyadari besarnya peranan teknologi informasi dalam format bisnis yang dijalani. Berbagai macam proyek teknologi informasi, mulai dari otomatisasi administrasi kantor (back office) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sampai dengan pengembangan sistem front office yang bersifat strategis, dikembangkan secara simultan dalam portfolio manajemen. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses bisnis, Manajemen PDAM Kota Surabaya melakukan implementasi aplikasi back office modul-modul Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Axapta yang dibagi ke dalam beberapa kategori, yaitu: (a) Modul Financial (General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Bank), (b) Modul Distribution (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory), dan (c) Modul Project (Project Management). Untuk alasan ini, dilakukan penelitian yang meliputi cara-cara proses menemukan, menganalisis, mendokumentasikan, dan menguji layanan-layanan serta batasan pernyataan/gambaran pelayanan yang disediakan oleh sistem dalam implementasi Microsoft ERP Axapta di PDAM Kota Surabaya. Proses menemukan, menganalisis, mendokumentasikan, dan menguji layanan-layanan serta batasan pernyataan/gambaran pelayanan yang disediakan oleh sistem, batasan-batasan dari sistem, dan dapat juga berupa definisi matematis fungsi-fungsi sistem itu sendiri merupakan suatu disiplin ilmu tersendiri yang diberi nama Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL), atau dalam bahasa Inggris Software Engineering (SE) atau Requirement Engineering (RE). Analisis cara-cara proses menemukan, menganalisis, mendokumentasikan, dan menguji pelayanan yang disediakan oleh sistem untuk implementasi Microsoft ERP Axapta di PDAM Kota Surabaya dilaksanakan menggunakan metode RUP (Rational Unified Process). Metode ini meliputi inception, elaboration, construction, dan transition. Dalam penelitian, proses pengumpulan kebutuhan yang mendukung metodologi RUP menggunakan tools IBM Rational Requisite Pro 2003.06.15.734.000. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa: (a) Dokumen Identifikasi Stakeholder Implementasi Microsoft ERP Axapta di PDAM Kota Surabaya; (b) Dokumen Kebutuhan Laporan masing-masing stakeholder; (c) Dokumen Evolusi Kebutuhan Proyek Implementasi Microsoft Axapta di PDAM Kota Surabaya; dan (d) Dokumen Modul Axapta yang digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan laporan dari stakeholder.

Today, almost all companies realize the significant role of information technology in the business format they operate. Various information technology projects, ranging from back-office automation to increase efficiency to the development of strategic front-office systems, are developed simultaneously within portfolio management. To improve the quality of business processes, the Management of PDAM Surabaya implemented back-office applications using Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Axapta modules, which are divided into several categories: (a) Financial Module (General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Bank), (b) Distribution Module (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory), and (c) Project Module (Project Management). For this reason, this research examines the processes of identifying, analyzing, documenting, and testing the services and service limitations provided by the system in the implementation of Microsoft ERP Axapta at PDAM Surabaya. The processes of identifying, analyzing, documenting, and testing the services and their limitations provided by the system, as well as the system limitations and mathematical definitions of the system's functions, constitute a distinct discipline known as Software Engineering (SE) or Requirements Engineering (RE). The analysis of the processes of identifying, analyzing, documenting, and testing the services provided by the system for the implementation of Microsoft ERP Axapta at PDAM Surabaya was conducted using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology. This methodology consists of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. In this research, the requirements-gathering process supporting the RUP methodology utilized IBM Rational Requisite Pro 2003.06.15.734.000. The results of this research are: (a) a Stakeholder Identification Document for the implementation of Microsoft ERP Axapta at PDAM Surabaya; (b) a Report Requirements Document for each stakeholder; (c) a Project Requirements Evolution Document for the implementation of Microsoft Axapta at PDAM Surabaya; and (d) an Axapta Module Document used to fulfill the reporting requirements of stakeholders.
