Abstract
PT. A. Schulman Indonesia adalah perusahaan penanaman modal asing (PMA) yang berkonsentrasi pada pengembangan industri manufacturing plastic compounding generasi terakhir. Perusahaan telah menerapkan sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2000 dan Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Selama ini dirasakan kedua program tersebut berjalan secara terpisah dan dalam penelitian ini akan ditentukan faktor-faktor dari kedua program yang dapat disinergikan untuk meningkatkan Mutu Produk. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) karena pendekatan ini mempunyai kemampuan sekaligus untuk menguji signifikansi dari indikator-indikator yang membentuk construct dan menguji hubungan sebab akibat antar-construct melalui model pengukuran dan model persamaan struktural yang dikembangkan dengan berbasis teori manajemen. Construct-construct yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Manajemen K3, Manajemen Mutu Terpadu, dan Mutu Produk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, model pengukuran yang digunakan mempunyai kesesuaian yang cukup dengan nilai Chi-square 154,090, nilai-p uji hipotesis 0,000, nilai RMSEA = 0,085, nilai GFI = 0,849, dan nilai AGFI = 0,792. Manajemen K3 mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan (nilai p = 0,000) terhadap Manajemen Mutu Terpadu, sedangkan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan Mutu Produk. Indikator-indikator Manajemen K3 yang perlu disesuaikan dengan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu adalah Management Attitude Towards Safety, Management Action Towards Safety, dan Perceived Level of Risk.

PT. A. Schulman Indonesia is a multinational company concentrated on the development of the latest generation of plastic compounding. The company has adopted the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System. Both programs have been implemented separately, and this research aims to determine the factors from both programs that can be integrated to improve Product Quality. This research uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach because this method has the ability to simultaneously test the significance of the indicators that form the constructs and examine the causal relationships between constructs through measurement and structural equation models developed based on management theory. The constructs used in this research are Occupational Health and Safety Management, Integrated Quality Management, and Product Quality. Based on the results of the research, the measurement model used has an adequate fit, with a Chi-square value of 154.090, a p-value of 0.000, RMSEA = 0.085, GFI = 0.849, and AGFI = 0.792. Occupational Health and Safety Management has a significant influence (p-value = 0.000) on Integrated Quality Management, while Integrated Quality Management has a significant influence on the improvement of Product Quality. The Occupational Health and Safety Management indicators that need to be aligned with Integrated Quality Management are Management Attitude Towards Safety, Management Action Towards Safety, and Perceived Level of Risk.
