Abstract
Perguruan Tinggi XYZ merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Surabaya yang telah berdiri cukup lama. Fakultas Teknik XYZ merupakan fakultas dengan jumlah mahasiswa terbanyak. Sistem informasi (SI) yang ada di Fakultas Teknik dirasa masih kurang memenuhi kebutuhan yang ada. Oleh karena itu, Fakultas Teknik XYZ perlu melakukan perencanaan kebutuhan akan sistem informasi yang dapat memberikan portofolio aplikasi di masa mendatang. Hal ini ditujukan agar pengembangan sistem informasi selaras dengan rencana pengembangan bisnis. Tahap awal dari pembuatan rencana ini dimulai dengan inisialisasi proses, pemahaman situasi sekarang dan mendatang, kemudian penentuan portofolio aplikasi yang disarankan. Pada akhirnya akan dihasilkan sembilan aplikasi baru yang disarankan.

University XYZ is one of the private universities in Surabaya that has been established for several decades. The Engineering Faculty of XYZ has the largest number of students. However, the existing information systems in the Engineering Faculty are considered insufficient to fulfill the current needs. Therefore, the Engineering Faculty needs to plan its information system requirements to provide an application portfolio for future development. This is intended to align information system development with the business development plan. The initial phase of this planning begins with process initialization, an understanding of the current and future situations, and the determination of the suggested application portfolio. Ultimately, nine new applications are recommended.
