Abstract

P.T. "X" adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang perhiasan emas. Hasil produksinya berupa perhiasan kalung, gelang, cincin, liontin, anting/giwang, baik berupa jenis polos maupun variasinya. Kontribusi keuntungan paling besar yang didapat oleh P.T. "X" berasal dari semua bentuk perhiasan yang jenisnya polos. Jenis variasi merupakan produk yang sangat diminati tetapi siklusnya pendek dan biaya produksinya mahal. Jumlah perhiasan emas yang akan diproduksi ditentukan dari jumlah order yang diterima, yang sangat bergantung pada permintaan pelanggan. Permintaan pelanggan sangat sensitif sekali pada harga bahan baku emas murni (gold). Jika pada kondisi tertentu harga emas murni naik tajam, maka kemampuan perusahaan dalam hal pengadaan bahan baku menjadi terbatas. Oleh karena itu, dengan banyaknya faktor-faktor pembatas yang ada, perusahaan sering mendapatkan kesulitan untuk menentukan produk dan kuantitas dari perhiasan emas yang harus diproduksi agar diperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang telah dijelaskan, diperlukan perencanaan bauran produk yang tepat agar diperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal. Langkah pertama adalah melakukan peramalan terhadap permintaan produk perhiasan berdasarkan data masa lalu. Langkah yang kedua adalah melakukan maksimasi keuntungan dengan metode Linear Programming. Sebagai variabel keputusannya adalah jumlah produk perhiasan yang harus diproduksi. Adapun batasan-batasannya adalah jumlah ketersediaan bahan baku utama, jam kerja, jumlah tenaga kerja, jumlah inventory dan kapasitas produksinya. Dari hasil maksimasi keuntungan yang telah dilakukan, maka perusahaan harus memprioritaskan pada produk perhiasan kalung polos kadar tengahan warna putih, kalung polos kadar tengahan warna kuning, kalung variasi kadar muda warna kuning dan anting variasi kadar muda warna kuning, agar diperoleh keuntungan sebesar 339.02 kg/tahun.

The amount of gold jewelry that will be produced is determined from the number of orders received, which depends on customer demand. Customer demand is very sensitive to the price of raw materials pure gold (gold). If certain conditions on the pure gold price rose sharply, the ability of companies in the procurement of raw materials to be limited. Because of the many factors that constraint, the company is often difficult to obtain the products and determine the quantity of gold jewelry that must be produced in order to obtain the maximum benefit. To solve the problem that has been described, the planning required product mixture so that the right to obtain the maximum benefit. The first step is to make forecasting the demand for jewelry products based on past data. The second step is to do with the method maksimasi profit by Linear Programming. As a decision variable is the number of jewelry products that must be produced. The limitations are the availability of key raw materials, work hours, the amount of labor, the amount of inventory and production capacity. Maksimasi benefit from the results that have been made, the company must prioritize products in jewelry necklace middle carat of plain white, necklace middle carat of plain yellow, necklace variation low carat yellow and variations earrings low carat yellow obtained profits of 339.02 kg/year.
