Abstract

Pada zona distribusi air bersih di Kelurahan Mojosongo Solo, terdapat masalah pada sistem distribusi yang meliputi kuantitas air yang terbatas, kualitas air yang kurang baik, serta pengaliran yang tidak kontinu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem distribusi air bersih pada zona utara-utara Kelurahan Mojosongo, Solo. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini meliputi masalah kuantitas air bersih, kualitas, serta kontinuitas pengalirannya, karena ketiga hal tersebut yang menjadi masalah utama pada lokasi penelitian, serta untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya permasalahan tersebut di atas. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa jumlah air bersih yang didistribusikan belum dapat mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat di sini. Secara umum kualitas air bersih yang sampai ke pelanggan tidak memenuhi syarat air bersih, karena angka kekeruhan dan bilangan $\text{KMnO}_4$ yang melebihi ambang batas. Dari aspek kontinuitas pengaliran juga belum memenuhi karena air bersih yang didistribusikan tidak mengalir selama 24 jam setiap hari.

In Mojosongo village at Solo city, there are problems with the water distribution system. The problems are water quantity, water quality, and the continuity of water flow. The objective of this research is evaluation of water distribution system on zona utara-utara Mojosongo at Solo city, about water quantity, water quality, and the continuity of water flow. The result of this research are, the quantity of water that distributed on this zone is not enough for people here, the quality of water is not suit with the drinking water standard especially for parameter of turbidity and $\text{KMnO}_4$, the water flow is not continue during twenty four hours per day.
